Sam : Hey Blondie, got a second?
We're at Mystic Falls High School and I still haven't talked to Caroline since she got turned, even though I assured her my support. Better late than never.
Caroline : Sam? Sure.
We walk a bit away from all those ears.
Sam : How are you doing since-
Caroline : Katherine killed me while I had your blood in my system, you told me you'll help me every step of the way and then haven't talked to me in days?
Sam : Ehm... yeah.
She smiles a bit.
Caroline : I'm only joking, Sam. You were busy and Stefan took great care of me, so don't worry. It's only... Matt, Mom...
Sam : Are still alive, right?
Caroline : Yes, of course. But controlling my hunger around them is still pretty difficult.
Sam : You're a newly turned vampire, the fact that you can control yourself at all is already pretty damn awesome. But, considering who's blood it was that turned you, it's no surprise you're better at that sort of stuff than most others.
Caroline : Impressive, you're exactly like Bonnie described you.
We chuckle a bit, but then I get serious again.
Sam : Bonnie's been talking about me? Only good things I hope.
Caroline : When she made my daylight ring, she told me a thing or two. Are you really as murderous as she said?
Sam : So not exactly good things, damn it. Was she angry at me?
Caroline : I think she was angry at the whole situation, not particularly you... she just directs all that anger towards you.
Sam : Wow, that makes me feel so much better. Thanks, Blondie.
She flinches a bit at her own insensitivity.
Caroline : Sorry.
Sam : Don't worry about it, it's my own fault. I said some pretty harsh things to her, made some hella stupid mistakes to forget about her and in the end, I'm still here and can't get her out of my head.
Caroline : Aww, that's so cute, Sam. But wait, aren't you supposed to help me with this whole vampire stuff, instead of me listening to you whine about Bonnie?
Sam : First off, I don't whine. I share my feelings and I heard somewhere that chicks dig that. Secondly, I practically turned you, which means I'm your boss, so of course you listen to what I have to say.
Caroline : Wait. Is that really a vampire rule? You're my boss now?
Jackpot.
Sam : Oh yes. I won't make you do anything indecent, but if I tell you to get me my coffee, you better make it quick. No milk. No sugar.
Caroline : O-Oh, alright. Should I get you some coffee right now?
Sam : That'd be great.
She quickly skips off, which makes me smile widely.
Sam : This is gonna be fun.

Stefan and I are in the Public Park right now, there are two reasons for that. First reason, it's the Mystic Falls Historical Society Volunteer Day and I hope to bump into Bonnie and talk with her.
Second, and at the moment, more important reason, Damon apparently unsuccessfully tried to kill Mason Lockwood yesterday when Stefan and I were interrogating Katherine.
