"Ge...." She whispered. Sweats running down forehead. "Ge...." She's dreaming again. "Gerald!!!" She screamed.
"Babe?!" Biglang bukas ni Gerald and pinto ng kwarto ni Sarah. "Babe what happened?" He quickly hugs her to comfort her. He wipes her tears and sweat. "You're having a nightmare."
Nang mahimasmasan na si Sarah she came to a realization that she can't handle her situation with Gerald. She slight push him off. "I need you to leave."
"What?"
"I want you to leave. Leave me alone! Get out!" She starts yelling at him. "ever since you came into my life everything turned upside down and nothing's good is happening!"
"What are you talking about?" He asked confused.
"I want YOU to leave me alone! I don't need you in my life! I don't want you! What don't you understand about that?!"
"We have a son together!"
"We will negotiate about Nico's living situation."
"He doesn't know what happened to us. He knows we are married and happy. Don't do this to the kid." Makaawa ni Gerald. "Look, I'm sorry if I irritate you. And seeing my face ruins your day by all means I'll stay away. But please don't close the door for Nico to be with his parents together."
Sarah finally got what Gerald is trying to do. Now, she feels bad. "I'm sorry Ge. I-I just ne-"
"You need to rest," Gerald said. "I'll take Nico with me later and you can have the rest of the day to rest."
Sarah slowly nods her head.
"Sige na. Go back to sleep. I'll be on the couch." Gerald smiled. Then, close her door behind him. He took a deep breath. "Patience. Patience. Patience." He whispered over and over walking to the living room.
Gerald woke up earlier than Sarah. He cooked pancakes, eggs and bacon. Then he woke up Nico, gave him a bath and fed him breakfast.
"Where we going Daddy?" Nico asked while he eats breakfast. "Where's mom?"
"Mommy needs some rest. She's tired baby. So, today we are going to have a boys day out!" Gerald smiled widely.
"Just you and me?"
"Just me and you buddy!" Gerald said finishing his coffee. "Now, hurry up so we can start our day!"
Sarah woke up from the sun glaring from her window. She looked at the time and it's already nine in the morning. "Shiiiiiit!" She hissed. She quickly got off from bed and to Nico's. "Nico?" She calls him. But he's no where to be found. She went to the living room and found it neatly organized and cleaned. "Gerald?" But no Gerald.
She went to the kitchen. She saw a sticky note on the microwave that says "OPEN ME." She opened it and saw another sticky note that says "Heat me up and eat me!" And she did. While the food is heating up she walked over to the counter. She saw a paper with a perfectly drawn tulip flower on it. "Goodmorning Sarah, I took Nico for some fun bonding moments. Don't wait up. Eat well and we'll see you later! Love Ge." Then at the end of the letter it said "P.S I love you Mommy! Love Nico =)" it's her son's hand writing.
She quickly dialed Gerald's cellphone, smiling. It took three rings for Gerald to answer it. "Hi," she greeted him in a nice calmly way.
Gerald smiled. "Hi."
