"Gerald hindi ka mag stri-strike?" Tanong ng filipino kasamahan niya sa hospital.
"Hindi na Ate Aubrey. I have bills to pay," he answered with a smile.
"Ako rin, gusto mag school ng anak ko sa Philippines kaya todo kayod ko," she said. "Balita ko marami nag strike kaya marami rin ang sub nurses."
"Oo nga ang dami nila sa baba signing in," sabi ni Gerald.
"Hey Gerald, Mrs. Smith is looking for her boyfriend," sabi ng isang kasamahan nila na nurse. She burst inside the break room dahil nag wawala ito. "Should I call code gray?"
"No need. I'm almost done. Thanks Jen." He said clearing his desk and putting away his food containers in his locker. "Sige Ate, I'll see you later!"
He washed his hand and went to Mrs. Smith's room. "Honey, whats wrong?" Sabi niya ng makitang nag wawala ang pasiente nya. When Mrs. Saw him she calmed down a bit.
"She doesn't want to eat," sabi ni Crystal na cna.
"I got it Crystal. Thanks. Can you just take BP of Mr. Jone, Ms. Fresh and Ms. Woo," utos nya sa CNA.
"Okay boyfriend!" She smiled at him.
He buttered up Mrs. Smith before giving her the insulin. Then he fed her 86 years old patient. Nag kwentuhan sila for a little bit. When he felt that she's feeling a lot better and calmed down nag paalam sya dito at sabi babalik after she finish her dinner.
"I love you, honey," the old lady said and gave him a flying kiss.
"Love you too honey! Finish your food okay? I'll be back." He smiled and left.
He met Crystal at the nursing station. She handed him the record of his patients BPs. Nag pasalamat sya and started documenting his patients records on the computer for the doctor to review.
"Gerald do you want to come eat breakfast with us after our shift?" Tanong ni Crystal.
"Yeah! Denny's! Lets go!" Sabi naman ni Jen. "Chris, Dawn and Aubrey are coming. You should go!"
"Sure! I'll be there!" He said. His work cellphone rang. It's on of his patient. "Hey sweetie do you need something?" He answered. "Okay, I'll be there in a bit," he said and hung up.
"How many girlfriends do you have?!" Biro ni Jen.
"Tonight I have three and one boyfriend!" He said and they all laughed. "I'll be back Ms. Fresh wants her pain meds."

"Sarah, where are you today?" Asked one of her co traveling nurses.
"Ummm..." She looked at her paper with her glasses. "Fifth floor, surgery."
"Awwww... I'll be on fourth floor, neuro."
"Awwww... We'll I'll just see you later then Keysia! This is my floor."
"Okay Sarah, see you later! Have fun!" Keysia said.
Sarah went to nursing station wearing her favorite pink scrub, her hair is in a bun with chopsticks in it to hold it and a bright smile. The clerk greeted and she introduce herself. "I'm looking for the charge nurse," she said after her introduction.
"Ahhhh... That would be, everyone's boyfriend. His name is Gerald." Monica the clerk said.
"Oh okay," she giggled on what Monica said.
"Hahahahaha sorry. He's a handsome guy and his patients love him thats why we call him everyone's boyfriend."
"He must be a good nurse for all his patients to like him."
