"Ge, ako na mag watch kay Nico. I took a day off today. I have a doctor's appointment." Sabi ni Sarah when they got home from work.
"Oh okay," he said washing his containers of food. "I guess I can sleep at my place today."
"No. Don't be silly you can stay here." She smile. "Anak, go continue your sleep in your bedroom. Dali na."
"I wanna sleep with you mommy," he whine.
"No. Nasasanay ka na. Sleep in your room. Go go!" Turo nya sa hallway.
"Ako na lang tatabi sa bata." He wash his hands with the towel.
"Kasasabi ko lang na nasasanay nga yun bata eh."
"Give the kid a break. Matagal nawalay sa atin eh. Pag bigyan mo na."
She raise her one eyebrow. "Okay. I'm not gonna argue with you on how you treat your child. But I don't want him to be so spoiled."
"Calm down Babe. He just want to sleep with you!"
"Stop calling me Babe. I'm not your babe!"
"Nag aaway na naman kayoooo!" Umiiyak na sabi ni Nico. Humihikbi hikbi pa. "Gusto ko na umuwi! I want Lolo and Lola and grandpa and grandma and Ninang and Tito Ken. And my yaya! Doon lagi happy! Ayoko dito!" He starts to runaway and lock himself in his bedroom.
Hinabol naman ni Sarah and Gerald si Nico. "Nico... Anak?" Sabi ni Sarah hinahanap ito.
"Get out of my room!" Sabi ng bata. He's hiding inside the closet with his blankey that Mommy Divine hand made for him since he was a baby.
Sarah slowly slide the closet door. Doon nya nakita ang anak na umiiyak. "Alexander, I'm so sorry." Naiiyak na sabi ni Sarah. "We didn't mean what we said." Dahan dahan syang umupo sa carpet katabi ng anak.
"Do you love daddy?" Hinarap nya ang mommy nya na humimikbi.
Hindi naman maka pag salita si Sarah nagulat sya sa tanong ng anak.
"Of course we love each other buddy!" Sabi ni Gerald na umupo na rin sa carpet kaharap nila. "And we love you more. Sorry kung bihira kami magka sundo ni mommy pero normal lang yun anak. I love your mommy very much and there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do for her and for you."
Sarah watch Gerald as he console Nico. Tuluyan ng tumulo ang mga luha nya. She felt Gerald's sincerity. Dahan dahan tumugil ang pag iyak ng bata. Pero humihikbi pa rin ito. He move to Sarah and gives her the biggest hug he can give.
Sarah stand up while carrying her son. She sway him. "Thanks." Sabi ni Sarah kay Gerald. Gerald smile at her and left the room. Sarah continue to sway Nico. She starts to sing to him.

Ang puso ko'y para sa'yo
At lagi ng sa piling mo

Nico raise his head to face his mom. "You sing very good Mama! Like Ninang."
Sarah smile at him. "Thank you baby." She hums the rest of the song hangang naka tulog na ang anak. She slowly lay him on the bed pero he doesn't want to let go of her. He starts to whine again. "Okay... Okay." Wala ng choice si Sarah kundi humiga next to him. She carry him to her room and doon sila nahiga mag nanay.
