Malapit na Birthday ni Bessprend Sarah G! =)

Umabot na ng isang lingo si Nico sa hospital. At gaya ng sinabi ng magulang ng bata na hindi na ito iiwan, Sarah and Gerald was there with their son the whole entire week. Mag kasundo naman ang dalawa. But alam nila pareho that they both need to talk. Pero pareho sila umiiwas sa usapan tungkol sa kanilang dalawa.
"Well, I don't see any more signa of distress or discomfort. All his tests are normal," sabi ng doctor while he check on Nico. "I say it's time for the little guy to go home! What do you say kid?"
"I can go home?" Excited na tanong ng bata.
"Yes! But we have to take care of your sugat." He took Nico's hand and show him where his scar on his head. "You feel that? Does it hurt?"
"That's my battle scar? It feels weird." He trace his healing scar carefully. "But it doesn't hurt."
Natawa naman ang doctor and his parent when he said battle scar.
"Its healing good. But you still have to be careful. Okay?" The doctor advised.
"I will!" Malaking ngiti ang binigay ni Nico sa doctor.
"Alrighty then! You can go home today!" He gave Nico a high five. "Mr. And Mrs. Anderson I need one of you to sign the discharge papers."
"Ako na Babe," sabi ni Gerald at tumayo. He didn't realized what he said. The word BABE just came out of his mouth without thinking. He saw Sarah staring at him.
"Okay Mr. Anderson. This way please." The doctor and Gerald went outside.
"Did you hear that mom I can go home today and you and dad are also going home and we will be one happy family!" Masaya and excited na sabi ni Nico sabay yapos kay Sarah.
Ngumiti Lang si Sarah habang naka yapos sa anak. She realized where they were all going to live. She and Gerald haven't talked about the whole situation. Hindi alam ng anak nila ang nangyari sa kanilang dalawa. Ang alam lang ni Nico ay happy together sila and nag pagamot sa America.
"Everything is all paid for and taking care of," sabi ni Gerald. "We can go home when he wakes up."
"Ge. We need to talk," sabi ni Sarah.
"I know," he sigh. "Sarah noon pa lang at mah-"
"Not that kind of talk Ge. Don't be selfish."
"I'm not being selfish! I'm telling you the truth! Dati pa lang ikaw na talaga. You're the girl in my dreams. You're-"
"Gerald ano ba! This is not the right time for that!"
"And kailan ang right time?! You have been avoiding me! And we need to talk about this!" He pointed to himself and to her. "Us! Specially now that we have our son!"
"We can talk about our son but that about you and me!"
"For God sake Sarah! For once be true to yourself! And do you think Matteo will want you back?!" Galit na galit na sabi ni Gerald. "Until now he thought your still a virgin yun pala meron ka ng a-"
