He passed by Sarah's house. He saw her car parked. He stopped and started to stare at her house. Bigla naman bumukas ang front door ni Sarah. Naka bungad si Sarah sa pinto. She was about to go to work. Tinawagan sya ng agency to cover for someone while they're on leave on absence.
Napatingin si Sarah sa kotse na naka park sa harapan ng bahay nya. She knew exactly who it was. She walked towards him. "Can I have my cellphone back?" She said when she opened Mateo's car.
"Sarah. I'm sorry," he said sadly.
"Sorry?! Putangina naman Mateo you left me sa kalye! Sorry?!" Sigaw nya and she slammed the door.
"Sarah. Pakinggan mo naman ako!" He said while getting out of the car. He grabbed her elbow.
"Bitiwan mo ako!"
"Why are you acting like that?! I just want to talk!"
"Talk about what?!"
"About last night. I'm sorry about how I acted. I just don't like seeing Ge-"
"Gerald?! Gerald na naman! How many times do I have to tell you. Walang sa amin ni Gerald!" She yelled at him out of frustration. "And bakit ganyan na lang galit mo sa tao wala naman syang ginagawa sayo or sa akin!"

Mateo helped her with the drinks she ordered to bring it to her table. Her school friends teased her just as she was walking up to them with Mateo.
"We ask you to get some drinks and you come back with a cutie pie!" One of her school friend said.
"Andiii! Hahahaha this is Mateo girls!" Sarah said.
Nakipag kilala naman si Mateo sa lahat. He even introduced his friends to them. Nag kwelwentuhan and nag kakatuwaan ang lahat ng niyaya ni Mateo si Sarah para mag laro ng mga games. They played shooting game. Natalo ni Sarah si Mateo ng five points.
"Do you play?" Chuckled.
"Basketball?" She said holding the ball and shot it. "Nahhhh. For some reason I just knew! Hahahaha."
"Meron ba ganon?!" He chuckled.
"Filipino ka?!" She was shocked to hear him speak tagalog. "I would have never guessed!"
"Half Italian." He smiled at her.
"Awwww okay. Cool!"
Doon na nag simula ang pag kakaibigan nila. Mateo would ask her to watch movies and have dinner sometimes hangang nag tapat na sya kay Sarah na gusto nya ito ligawan. Pinakita ni Mateo na talagang sincere sya kay Sarah. He did everything he can to win Sarah's heart. He opened up to her about everything.
Hindi naman mahirap mahulog ang damdamin ng isang babae kay Mateo. He was nice at meron din naman itsura. Sarah did open up to him also pero she left her past untouched. She wants to start fresh. Ilan buwan lang ang pangliligaw ni Mateo at sinagot na ito ni Sarah. Nakit naman si Sarah kay Mateo na mabuti itong lalake at hindi sya ipapahamak.
After a year strong pa rin ang relationship nila. They do have fights pero mabilis din sila mag kabati. Lahat ginagawa ni Mateo para kay Sarah. He wants her to fall in love with him so bad, but there's something about Sarah that he wasn't sure that she loves him too.
Isang araw while Sarah was studying for her NCLEX Exam for nursing, Mateo was there playing video games at her house when he asked her, "Sarah. Are you in love with me?"
