"I looooove pancakes!!" Tili ni Sarah when the pancakes arrived. They're having breakfast at Ihop. Tumakas sila sa mga "people" ni Shin. By "people" means her PA, handler, manager, director and her glam team.
"Salamat at kahit papaano ay nakakalimutan ko ang busy showbiz life! With you I can be free," seryosong sabi ni Shin.
"Sis ano ka ba! Lovers in New York?! Yuck! Sorry I don't swing that way," biro ni Sarah sabay tawa.
"Ikaw talaga! Hahahahaha" sabi ni Shin. "Maiba ako, parang vibes na vibes mo si Gerald ah! Be careful Sars marami masasaktan."
"Napa seryoso mo naman. Friends lang kami. Magaan lang talaga loob namin sa isat isa. Nothing else!" Sabi ni Sarah na excited pa rin kainin ang pancakes nya. "Kayo ni Fred?"
"Eeekkkkk!! Siiissss!! I think in love ako!!! Aaahhhyyyiiiieeee nakaka in love sya!!"
"In love?! Agad agad?! Diba puedeng crush crush lang?!"
"Bakit?! Falling in love doesn't take time. It only takes one single moment to fall in love. Like you and your ba-" she snap out of the dreaming when she realize what she was about to say.
"Like me and who?" Sarah asked.
"Like you... And..." Naiisip si Shin ng palusot. "And..." Biglang pumasok si Fred at Gerald. "Oh my god! They're here!" She quickly change the topic. "Tago!" Shin ducked down.
"Bakit ba? Akala ko in lababu ka tapos nag tatago dyan!"
"Eeehhhh kasi natatakot ako..." She whispered hiding her face behind the menu.
"Bakit ka natatakot?"
"Basta! Bilisan mo kumain!"
Lumingon si Sarah at sabay din lumingon si Gerald at nag tagpo anh kanilang mga mata. He smile widely. She smiled back. Gerald gesture if they can sit with them. Sarah looked back at Shin who's still covering her face with the menu. Then she looked back at Gerald at umiling. He gave her a sad puppy dog face and she giggled.
"Follow me sir," sabi ng waiter. The waiter sit them on the table for two just beside Sarah and Shin.
Nangingiti naman si Gerald at si Sarah. They're both looking at each other. Hindi pa naman na titinginan ang dalawa. Shin is still hiding herself over the menu and Fred looking at his.
"So, bro Thee Rachelle Ann Go huh?" Sabi ni Gerald na nangingiti.
"When I'm with her para akong teenager na kinikilig! Pag hindu ko sya nakikita ang lungkot ng buhay ko! Ano yun?! Para akong tanga! Hahahahaha," sabi ni Fred.
Narinig naman yun nila Sarah and Shin. Naka ngiti pa rin si Gerald sa kaibigan. Shin slowly lowered her menu. Tumingin sya sa taong nag salita. Fred slowly took off his ray ban glasses. Nag katinginan sila ni Shin ng matagal.
"Ahhhh... Ge! Gusto mo ako samahan? Hindi ko pa kasi nakikita si Liberty eh." Sarah said pero nag titigan pa rin sila Shin and Fred.
"Sure! Gusto mo ngayon na tutal parang tayo lang din naman ang nandito!" Gerald joked at still wala pa rin nag kikibuan sa dalawa. They kept staring at each other na parang walang tao sa paligid nila.
Nag tatawanan sila Gerald and Sarah na lumabas sa Ihop. Nag lakad lakad sila habang nag kwe-kwentuhan. They were talking about their college days and nursing schools. They agreed on things about the management on how they handle their employees and other complaints they have. Then they went inside Starbucks on get some coffee.
