Birthdays are like weddings - full of drama

Seth's POV:

Nikki is staying for the night, we have to prepare for my birthday tomorrow and I just want her to be just around me. It's 11 in the evening. After an hour, I'll be 16. It's really bugging me, when I turned 16 I'll be able to feel my mate. I can marry Nikki after that. Nikki was taking a bath, and I heard the door opened and there she was the girl I want to be with for the rest of my life was standing there. She was wearing a black lace nightie that just hangs limply. I can't imagine my life getting any better. She was walking towards me then she kissed me and stifles a giggle. I smiled and kissed her in the lips, wanting her and feeling her need. She was just amazing.

I would really mark her now, but it is in our custom to mark our mates on our wedding day. Oh well, it is more proper in a way.

She kissed my lips then my jawline and when she reached my ear she whispered, "Seth, I'm ready." It was all I needed to hear. Lust has driven me insane. I then switched places with her. "Hi honey, happy birthday!" my mom shouted as I walked down the stairs. Everybody was very busy. I can smell what they are cooking outside for the party, my senses are heightened to a new level, being 16 and all. But I'm more excited to see Nikki and tell her how much I love her. "Thanks mom," I smilingly replied as I went out into the grounds.

I saw a girl wearing a red dress, her hair is black and flowing softly as the wind blew it. Her back is on me and I can't see her face. It seems that I haven't seen her around. Do we have a new she-wolf that I know nothing about. Tyrone was with her, they were laughing about something. She must be one of Ty's relatives, he said that they'll be celebrating with us. Ty hold her arm when she almost stumbled down. A bit clumsy for a wolf. I wanted to come between them and rip Ty's hand away from her.

"Hey birthday boy!" Nikki approached me and planted a kiss on my lips. I was startled for a moment and went back to reality. "Oh Nikki," I put my hands around her waist and returned the kiss. What is wrong with me? I can't take my mind off that girl. But Nikki is with me, she's supposed to be the one on my mind. I'm gonna propose to her tonight.

"Hey Ty!" Nikki shouted as she waved her hand for them to come over. "They look like a cute couple right?"

"Who?" I asked looking at the couple approaching us.

"Ty and Angie."

"What?"

"Hey birthday boy. How does it feel to be 16?" Ty asked as he mildly punched my arm.

"Ey, we bought you a gift but that would be for later," Angie said.

"You look different today. I have never seen you in a dress. More so, with your hair down," I muttered.
