Chapter 35

A.N: this is going to be all about Sam alright? But trust me she'll end up with Benjamin in the end okay??? Patience you guyss

Samantha's POV

I let my fingers gently linger on his shoulder watching his chest rise up and down slowly every time he breathes. His features were relaxed and he looks so peaceful sleeping.

Well look at me being a creep looking at him and observing how he sleeps as if he was a laboratory experiment or something

I chuckled lightly and took my hand away sitting up on the bed. 

The sun was shining through the window pane only to bring out his features more. I reached my hand out to brush a strand of hair away from his face but he shifted away on his before my hand could even touch his hair. I covered my face with my hands and cried silently.

"I know you're awake" I said lowly taking my hands off bringing them to hug my knees. He shifted again in reply. I let a tear fall and stood up going to the bathroom giving him one last glance before turning around.

I let the door open as I stood infront of the mirror. Some parts of my face were red due to the fact that my head has been hurting all night causing my eye bugs to pop out more due to the lack of sleep. I rolled my sleeves up and tied my hair back. I turned the faucet on and rinsed my face slowly with my hands. I grabbed a towel and patted my face dry as I walked back towards the room.

I placed the towel on the edge of the bed as I saw Mac now sitting up with her hands clasped together looking at me with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Hey" I said lazily sitting next to the towel. He crawled towards me and opened his arms again.

"Are you mad at me?" I asked still on my position. He pressed his lips on a thin line and held me close to him causing me to curl up in a ball on his lap.

"Sorry I was just a bit upset about what happened yesterday" He says looking down at me with a smile. "But hey I'm not mad anymore!" I frowned and wrapped my arms on his neck

"Come on" he cooes with a smirk. "Give me a smile Sammy" he says as he leaned down peppering me with soft kisses causing me to giggle in amusement

"Stop" I said out of breath but he still continued tickling me with his lips.

"Mac stop!" I shouted this time as I felt a shot on my head. I covered my face again sittinf up properly beside him.

"Sam?" He asks pressing his hand on my back "Sam are you okay?"

I held my stomach tight and ran towards the bathroom feeling a familiar tingle in my throat. I knelt down on the toilet and closed my eyes. I felt Mac's presence next to me after a few seconds. I paced myself for whatever it is that is about to happen next but after a few more seconds nothing happened.

"Do you think you can still make it to the hospital? I really think we should have you checked out" Mac says rubbing my back gently. I nodded slowly and tried to get up on my feet only to fall slightly because of headache. Mac suddenly carried me up and walked out of the bathroom. I wrapped my arms around his neck and closed my eyes.

"You'll be alright okay?" He says kissing my forehead before heading out of our house swiftly and carefully.

"Gosh Mac I can't believe you're actually crying" I said chuckling at my boyfriend who has been crying on my side for god knows how long. I sat up carefully on the hospital bed and ran my fingers on his hair. He looked up at me still with tears brimming on his eyes and a smile plastered on his pale face. He took my hand and intertwined it with his and kissed my knuckles

"I-i'm going to be a dad Sam" he stuttered leaning closer to my face "A fucki-" he says covering his mouth "I shouldn't be cursing. That would be bad for the baby"

"Our baby" he says with pride written all over his face as he kisses me softly. I looked at him with a smile and placed his hand on my stomach.

"Our baby" I repeated with a smile. He then placed both of his hands on my stomach and leaned in to plant kisses on the thin fabric on it.

Just then my thoughts wandered to the problems that I may be facing next. I mean as much as I loved Mac I also do care for my reputation in the industry. If people find out about me being a parent without marriage then that would sound very unprofessional. My mom would be the next thing to worry about but I know she'll accept me anyway.

Mac inched closer to my face and kissed my forehead. "Your forehead is wrinkling... is something wrong?" He says with a concerened look on his face. I faked a smile and looked down playing with my hands.

"Mac..." I cooed "Do you... like... actually love me?"

"Of course I do. More than the whole world" he quickly replies kissing me on the nose "I love you Sam. What makes you ask that? Isn't it obvious? Am I n-not good enough? Is something wrong? If so, I ca-" he says rumbling only to get cut off by my laughter. "Slow down Mac"

He takes both of my hands and kisses them each "What makes you ask that?"

I looked at him for a minute taking in the confused looked on his face before comprimising myself.

"Have you... I don't know thought about us in the future?" I hesitantly ask looking at him. He bit his lip and took my hands and placed it on his cheek.

"Of course I do babe. I've always wanted to spend my future with you and our little bun here" he says smiling. He looks away for a moment and turned to look at me again with a frown.

"Please don't be upset though... but I've always wanted to pop the question to you someday. Probably in some place more romantic...."

"But I wanted to ask that question when the time is right. When we have nothing else to worry about"

I rose a brow "What do you mean? Everything's going quite well now anyways"

Mac let out a sigh and kissed me one more time before taking my hands again. "I just want to have a perfect timing okay? Please do understand that" he says with a frown.

I admit I feel hurt I mean, it sounds like something is holding him down

"Hey, when that time comes" he says playing with my fingers "I promise you I'd make you my queen and I would give you anything that you desire might sound a bit cheesy but it's true" he says chuckling "And I do love you Sam. I could not wait for the day you'll be legally mine and only mine"

Trust me, I couldn't wait for that day too

P.S this book would probably have like up to 45+ chapters I guess but I hope that I'm not boring you because things are about to get exciting!!!
