"Mirio!" Katsuki reached out a hand as Mirio phased through the wall blocking their path. He gritted his teeth—Was that idiot, an idiot? Was he so confident to stride on without backup?

Bright flickers glistened on Katsuki's palms, before he slammed them against the wall and effectively created a hole within it. That stupid lackey, Mimic, tried to close up the gap, but Katsuki leapt through before he did.

He could hear his Hero name being called by Nighteye and the other Heroes, but he couldn't care less. His new friend was going to get hurt if he didn't help him, and he couldn't have that.

As he sprinted through the halls, Mimic's Quirk seemed to fade away. Just as he was about to slow his pace, the whole building shook, causing specks of the concrete all around to tremble. What followed were the frequent rumbles that Katsuki could only hope meant that the Heroes were beating up the Villains…

He, too, encountered a few pathetic extras along the way, but it wasn't long before he reached another dead end. Gritting his teeth in annoyance, Katsuki blasted through the wall once again. As he went through, his eyes couldn't help but widen as they settled on Mirio and…

    "Izuku…?"

---

"Where is the girl, Decipher?" Chisaki pinched the bridge of his nose as he sauntered near the other Villain.

"She is in a safe place," Izuku brought his hand up to his mouth and bit onto the tip of his glove. He then slowly retracted his hand, using the same hand to remove the glove from between his teeth.

    "Which is?"

    "Not here."

"…" Overhaul narrowed his eyes dubiously as he heard Izuku's words. A smile then crawled onto his face. "Heh. Decipher, you really are daring…"

"A compliment, I presume," Izuku waved his hand, an army of rubble levitating from the ground on his command. He could use a faster method to kill Overhaul… but where was the fun in that? Seeing him struggle to live, then realising that Izuku was just playing with him the entire time; is the most devastating feeling of all.

A manic grin gradually formed on Decipher's face as Chisaki reached down and touched the ground. A concrete spike then emerged; it would have pierced anyone else, but unfortunately for Chisaki, Decipher was not just anyone.

His feet lifted from the ground, which startled him greatly. An emerald luminescence surrounded his body, but before he could analyse the usual glow, his back made contact with a hard wall. The stone cracked and splintered, the impact knocking the air out of Chisaki's lungs.

"What the…" he coughed, standing on unstable legs. He removed his plague mask and gagged at the taste of copper on his tongue.

    "One of my Quirks, Telekinesis."

Chisaki looked up quickly, his eyes meeting Decipher's red contact ones. The unnerving grin he wore led Chisaki to believe that the man before him was an actual demon…

"Oh my, you're trembling," Decipher's smile broadened, sending chills down his spine. "Are you cold?"

It was not long before Decipher was right in front of him. Chisaki was a few centimetres taller than him, but at that moment, he felt like Decipher easily towered over him.

Crimson eyes squinted through a masquerade mask, "…Or just afraid?"

A loud crash sounded in the two enemies' ears, followed by a bunch of thumps as rubble fell. The ceiling collapsed, cascading the area in a murky cloud of dust. Once the haze cleared, the underground cave was abruptly drowned in light.
