Apparently, Izuku had gotten surprisingly close to the most amount of requests from heroes to intern with. He couldn't help the sense of pride that bubbled in his chest when his name was jotted down below Katsuki and Todoroki's.
"Now, all of you will be doing something that will decide your future," Almost everyone in the classroom tensed, assuming it was crucial based on Aizawa's tone of voice. "Hero aliases."
There was a short pause, then the students of 1A sighed in solace and started babbling with each other for suggestions. Izuku loathed the commotion, but said nothing about it.
Aizawa glared at them, instantly silencing the students.
"I'm not good at these things, so another teacher will be substituting." At the mention of her, Midnight slammed the classroom door open and strolled in with confidence. Preferring to ignore her presence, Aizawa writhed below his desk and tucked himself into his sleeping bag comfortably.
Once everyone had gone through the preliminary shock of Midnight busting into the room, they started taking turns to come up to the podium to demonstrate their hero names.

Izuku had suggested 'Ground Zero' to Katsuki, who surprisingly accepted it without a word. However, the greenette himself was having trouble deciding his hero name. It wasn't like it was going to stick with him forever, he'd eventually pass on One For All, quit the hero gig and go back to focusing on being a Yakuza leader, but…
Izuku shook his head at those thoughts. Deciding a hero name is still apart of his future. He relished his villain name; Decipher, but there was no way he could choose that.
"What about 'Deku'?" Katsuki recommended, noticing Izuku's difficulty.
"Huh?" The greenette blinked at him in response, startled by the unexpected suggestion. "What does that mean?"
"I just brought out 'ir' from 'Dekiru'," the blond shrugged.
Izuku's eyes glimmered with satisfaction, "You're a genius, Kacchan!" He scribbled on the board he was assigned and abruptly stood up from his seat, making his way to the front of the class.

During lunch, as he was conversing with his classmates, All Might approached him with a somewhat ambiguous fidgeting behaviour.
