See Him!

Y/n's Pov:

Work, work, and more work.

My life is so exciting I know. But that's the terrible truth about being an adult. You have so little time to relax and have fun.

Oh well, I'm not saying work isn't fun. I get to meet students and learn interesting things about them.

Still, it would be nice to have a break.

Just then my door opened and Nezu walked in. "Nezu, what can I do for you?" I asked with a smile.

"I just wanted to inform you the students will be beginning internships next week so you don't have to come in for work."

God? Are you listening to me?

"Oh okay then," I said with a small smile. He nodded. "Yes well, you can still come in if you want so-"

I quickly stood up. "Oh don't worry I don't want to worry anyone by being here. I'll take my leave."

He made an 'oh' face and nodded. "Alright have a nice break." He left and I practically jumped for joy.

I gathered my things and headed out. I  locked the door and when I turned back around I got startled.

"Jesus! Uh, Todoroki correct?" He nodded. "Yes, my classmate, Yaoyorozu, recommended I come and see you."

I laughed nervously. "Well I'm happy you stopped by but-" He made a sad face. "So I can't talk to you?"

His face was so... He looked like a sad cat! I groaned internally.

I unlocked the door and motioned for him to come inside. I hung back up my bag and sat at my desk.

"Okay, what is it you'd like to talk about?" He looked around and stopped at me.

"Is your office always this messy?" What? "Todoroki, you said you wanted to talk so?"

He made an 'oh' face. "Sorry I forgot." He forgot?!?

"Anway I came to ask you something because I need some advice." I nodded and motioned for him to continue.

He went on to talk about how he didn't know who to pick for his internship. He showed me his paper and wow that was a lot of names.

"Well, you haven't narrowed it down to which pros can help you with your quirk the most?"

He fell silent. "I have but I don't want to work with him." I looked at him confused. "Why?"

"I hate him with every bone in my body." He said it so casually too.

I sighed. "Todoroki I know it's not my business so I won't ask but your father might be your best choice."

He looked surprised. "How'd you know I was talking about my father?" I shrugged.

"I get the same way when I even think about my father." He thought for a second then nodded.

"I know working with your father is the last thing want but he's the only other person that can help and understand your left side."

He squinted his eyes. "How'd you know I wanted to use my left side?" I sighed.

"Because I watched the Sports Festival. If it wasn't for Midoriya you wouldn't have used your left side."

He fiddled with his fingers. "I can't believe I actually have to work with that bastard."

I laughed a bit. "Internships are only a week. I think you'll be just fine." He sighed and nodded.

He thanked me and left.

It's almost lunch, might as well stay.

I decided to get something from the vending machine.

I forgot to pack a lunch today and I only have a dollar on me. I put my money in the machine and waited for it to do absolutely nothing.

I pressed some buttons and out came what I wanted. "You have to teach me that sometime."

I turned around and gave a sly smile. "A magician never reveals his secrets Eraserhead."

He playfully scoffed and rolled his eyes. I laughed and headed to his classroom with him.

"How are the students with picking internships?" I asked while eating my snack.

"Alright, most of them haven't decided but I gave them until Sunday to pick." I looked at him confused.

"That's only two days." He smiled creepily. "Exactly." I shook my head with a smile.

We made it to his classroom and went inside. "It's your turn." He said as he closed the door.

"Alright." What can I ask him? Something personal?

"What made you go into teaching?" I asked. He shrugged. "I'm actually not sure. Maybe I thought I could teach them something."

I nodded. "You seem to be doing a pretty good job." I smiled at him. He cleared his throat.

"Okay, my turn." I motioned for him to go ahead. "What made you want to be a guidance counselor?"

I laughed a bit. "Well actually I wanted to be a therapist, maybe a counselor for adults but I wanted to take it slow."

I paused. "So I thought an emotional support counselor would be best to start."

He nodded. "Well, you seem to be pretty good at your job." I smiled a bit when he said that.

"So what are you gonna do next week since the students are doing internships?"

He sighed. "Actually I'm going to be training someone over the week." I looked at him surprised.

"Wow, that's something I didn't expect from you. I thought you'd take this time to relax."

He shrugged. "Well, I thought I could teach him a couple of things." I nodded. "So which of your students is it?"

He shook his head. "Actually he's not in the hero course." Now I'm really surprised.

"Who is it?" Before he could answer the door opened. I think my face went pale.

"Oh sorry. I didn't think you'd be with anyone." Eraserhead shook his head. "It's fine, we were just talking about you."

Eraserhead turned to me. "This is Hitoshi Shinsou from General Studies. He's the one I'm training."

I could tear my eyes away from him. He looked at me and put out his hand. "Nice to meet you, I've heard about you but I've never met you personally."

I couldn't bring myself to shake his hand. "Nice to meet you too. Sorry but I should take my leave now."

Before Eraserhead could say anything I left. I quickly walked back to my office and closed the door.

I can't bear to see him.
