Stay With Him!

Y/n's Pov:

"I think you should come." I looked at Shota confused.

"Why? There's no reason for me to be there." He shrugged. "You could watch them in the field."

I hmmed. "You know, I think you just want me there because you have a little separation anxiety."

He scoffed. "No, I don't." I looked at him confused. "Just yesterday you wouldn't let me get up to get ready for work."

He shook his head. "That's because I thought you needed more sleep." I lifted a brow.

"It was six in the morning. We fell asleep at six in the afternoon the day before."

He rolled his eyes. "I still think you should come." I sighed. "Okay, I'll ask Nezu."

He brought me closer to him. I rolled my eyes with a smile. "Also can I ask something." I said.

He looked at me. "What is it?" He asked. "What are we?" He sat up. "What do you want us to be?"

"Well, what do you want us to be?" I asked. I think he's worried I'll say I don't want us to be together.

"I want to be with you." I nodded. "I want that too." I smiled. "So Shota will you go on a date with me?"

"Um, I'm pretty sure I'm the one that asked you out first." I squinted my eyes.

"Really I don't remember that." He lifted a brow. "It was at the school pool. I asked and you said it wasn't my turn to ask a question."

I shrugged. "Doesn't ring a bell." He glared at me. "Well hit the bell with a hammer then."

I laughed. "Okay fine! You can ask me again if it's that important." I leaned back and looked at him.

"Y/n will you go out with me?" I nodded. "Yes. I will." He smiled and kissed me.

I can't get enough of this.

I was walking to go back to my office after eating lunch with Shota when I saw Nezu.

"Oh, Nezu can I talk to you." He stopped in front of me. "Actually I wanted to speak with you."

That didn't sound good. "Oh okay." We went back to my office and I closed the door.

"Is everything okay?" I asked. "Well, I just wanted to talk about Hitoshi Shinsou."

I'm getting nervous. "Oh okay. What about him?" I went and sat at my desk. "I know I let him make an appointment with you a couple of weeks ago."

I nodded. "I just wanted to know if he knows who you are." I looked at my desk and then at him.

"He found out on his own. I tried to keep it to myself but he was very persistent."

He nodded. "Well, that was to be suspected. I mean it's not every day you found out you have a sister."

I laughed a bit. "Yeah, I'm sorry sir I didn't tell him about the incident but when I saw him I just-"

He shook his head. "I understand. It was wrong of me to think this wasn't hard for you."

I nodded then a thought popped into my head. "Nezu would it be okay if I told him and one other person."

He looked at me confused. "I understand Shinsou but who is this other person?"

I cleared my throat. "Sho- I mean Aizawa." He lifted a brow with a smirk. "Oh okay, I get it."

Me and my big mouth.

"Well, you've earned my trust. The incident left a huge scar but somehow I think it's beginning to heal."

I nodded. "I agree." He got up. "What was it you wanted to ask me?" I made an 'oh' face.

"Shota's class is going to their provisional licensing exam next week and I wanted to ask if I could-"

He nodded. "You may." He smiled and left.

I took a deep breath. I feel like I'm healing.

I went to Shota's classroom after school.

He was there sleeping in his sleeping bag. "Shota, it's the end of the day." He opened his eyes and yawned.

"Sorry, these kids are tiring." I laughed a bit. "I get it." I help him up and fixed his hair.

He smiled a bit and kissed me. "Come on let's get going so we can both sleep."

He nodded. "That's a good plan." We walked out and continued talking. "So I asked Nezu."

He looked at me. "And?" I sighed. "I'm sorry." He groaned and I smiled a bit. "He said I could go."

He glared at me. "Tricking me doesn't get you a good dinner date." I laughed. "Okay, I'm sorry."

He sighed. "You were gonna get a good dinner date anyway so." I slipped my hand into his and kept walking.

When we got outside Hitoshi was there. He turned to look at us, then our hands then back at us.

"Hitoshi were you waiting?" I asked. "Yeah, I thought we could talk more." I sighed.

I looked over at Shota. He nodded and went to the teacher's dorms by himself.

"What is it?" I looked at him. "Can you forget what I said earlier? About our parents."

Does he mean when I ask if they treated him good? Something is definitely wrong.

"Why?" He shrugged. "I was over exaggerating. Everything is fine". I sighed.

"I'm not stupid Hitoshi. I know something is bugging you." He was quiet for a moment.

"You remember how I told you I wanted to get into the hero course but didn't make it." I nodded.

"I think they had something to do with that." I looked at him confused. "Why do you think that?"

He shrugged. "When I told them I was trying to get into the hero course they got really upset. They said it was a waste of time and that I should be grateful I was allowed to go here at all."

I sighed. They won't let him be in the hero course because of me.

"Hitoshi, don't let them stop you." He looked at me surprised like he didn't expect me to say that.

"You have every right to try. And if they can't understand that then don't try to make them. Do what you think is best for you."

He looked at the ground and nodded. What I didn't expect was for him to come up and hug me.

It was quick and when he let go he smiled and walked away. I looked at him sadly as he did.

I know I said before I didn't want to ruin his life and that's why I tried to stay away.

But something's telling me I should stay with him.
