It's Nice!

Y/n's Pov:

I hung up my bag when I got to my office. I went over to my desk and sat down.

Just then my door opened. "Oh, you got your bandages off," I said as he stood there.

"Yeah finally." I nodded and stood up. "Good timing actually." He looked at me confused.

"Good timing for what?" I walked over and stood in front of him. I slightly smiled and slapped him.

He held his cheek and looked at me. "What the hell was that for?" I scoffed. "You really went to Nezu to ask about me!"

His eyes widen. "How do you know about that?" I looked at him like he was an idiot, which he was.

"He told me." He thought for a moment. Before he could speak the bell for first-period rung.

I sighed and went back to my desk. "Go, you have a class to teach." He stood there for a second and then left.

Slapping him felt good.

"Okay, so what brings you in today?" I looked up at him with a smile.

"Well, my teacher told me to come and talk to you." I nodded. "Okay, about what?"

He rolled his eyes. "I was saying truthful things to Class 1-A and I guess they just couldn't handle it."

"So what exactly did you say Monoma?" He shrugged. "Just that my class is better than theirs."

Wow.

"Okay, why did you say that?" He scoffed. "Because Class 1-A thinks they so much better than my class. But the truth is they're not, we're far more superior than them."

I nodded. "Has Class 1-A said that they're better than your class?" He was about to answer but paused.

"Well not exactly."

I wrote it down 'insecure, feels inferior to Class 1-A, uses bullying to cope'

"Okay, Monoma I'd like to use my quirk to know more is that alright?" He rolled his eyes.

"I guess." We went to the couch and I told him to put his head on my lap.

"What?! Why?!" Is he embarrassed? "Because it's easier. If I did it while you were sitting I'd mess up and you could get brain damage."

Sorta true.

He immediately listened and put his head on my lap. I put my hands on either side of his head.

"Okay just breathe and relax." He did so and we both closed our eyes.

I opened my eyes and saw I was in a bedroom.

I looked around and saw Monoma sitting on the floor with his back to the bed.

He was crying.

Beside him was a paper. I quickly looked and saw it was from UA, saying he was put in Class 1-B.

I was interrupted by yelling coming from outside the door. "He couldn't even get into Class A!"

"But he made it into the hero course! That's what matters!" It sounded like a man and a woman.

I turned back to Monoma and sat on my knees beside him. He looked up at me with tears.

I pulled out the pink rose and offered it to him. He took it and his crying stopped.

I opened my eyes and looked down. Monoma still had his eyes closed. I sighed and took my hands off.

His eyes fluttered open and he sat up. "How do you feel Monoma?" He shrugged.

"I'm fine." He yawned and stretched. "I need to get back to class." He stood up and grabbed his bag.

"If you feel different come back okay." He nodded and left. I sighed.

How long till I can go home?

I walked out of my office and locked it.

I was gonna head out but was stopped. "What do you want?" Eraserhead sighed. "I want to talk."

I was about to walk when he held out his hand, stopping me. "Just five minutes."

I looked at him. He seemed desperate. God damn.

"I already locked my office." He nodded. "We can talk in my classroom."

We went to his classroom and he closed the door. Good, so if I murder him no one passing by will see it.

"Alright go ahead and say what you need to say," I said. He crossed his arms. "Look I apologize that I went to talk to Nezu."

I hmmed. "It doesn't sound like your sorry." He scoffed. "What do you want me to say?" I shrugged.

"I don't know maybe 'sorry I was a jackass.' That could work." He rolled his eyes.

"I thought we were gonna talk like adults." I scoffed. "And I thought we were gonna ask each other questions to get to know each other!"

He shrugged. "Well, you weren't giving me much." I can't believe him! "Neither were you!"

He sighed and pinched his nose. "This isn't going anywhere." I sighed and leaned on one of the desks.

"I don't get you at all," I said as he looked up at me. "I don't get you either."

We stopped talking and just stood there for a minute. "I am sorry." He said. I nodded. "I know."

In the silence, a thought popped into my head. "It's my turn."

He looked at me but didn't say anything. "Why did you go to Nezu? You have chances now to ask about me so why?"

He sighed and started to explain. "There are questions I want to ask but I wasn't sure if you'd give me an answer or give me a truthful answer. I went to Nezu to ask those questions so I wouldn't have to ask you."

I stood there and thought about his explanation. I know I'm not the easiest person to talk to, neither is he.

But I kinda thought that's why this was a good idea.

"It's your turn," I said. He thought for a moment until he spoke. "Why are you so afraid of me finding out about you."

I tried to think of the simplest answer. "Because I have worked so hard to get rid of everything about me." I paused.

"Things are easier when no one knows you."

He nodded after I said that. "I'm sorry." I laughed a bit. "You already said that." He smiled a bit.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've seen his smile.

It's nice.
