Introduction

Y/n's Pov:

Deep breathes.

That's all I have to do. Take deep breaths and smile, I thought as sat on the bus.

I looked out the window and saw all the large buildings go by. There were only a couple of people on the bus so the noise was low.

I sat with my bag in my lap, both my hands lacking semi- tightly onto it as I looked forward. I kept thinking about the outcome of today.

What will happen? Will it be a good day? Bad day? Was today worth waking up for?

The bus stopped and I got off. Once I did I looked at the ginormous building in front of me.

This is it, UA High School. I almost forgot how big it was, even now as an adult, I still feel so small next to it. I remember when I saw the building for the first time, I-

I stopped myself from thinking any further and I made my way inside the building. Once I was inside I was directed to where I needed to go and began walking until I had made it.

I stopped at the door and took a deep breath. Okay, just breathe a smile, everything will be fine.

After knocking I heard a come-in. I opened the door and walked in. "Ms. L/n! It's good to see you!" I smiled at the white bear, mouse, person? I'm not sure what I should describe him as, just know he's the principal.

"Hello, it's good to see you again, Nezu." He nodded until he motioned to the chair that was directly across from him. "Have a seat." I did so and he spoke again.

"So," He paused as he opened a file. "I see you've applied for the guidance counselor position."

I nodded eagerly. "Yes, I saw it online and I thought why not." That's not entirely true. I was a bit hesitant to apply but after some long thinking, I finally decided to do it.

But I didn't think I would be called in. I applied because you never know what could happen but I still didn't believe it.

"Right, well everything here checks out and you should be good to go." I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "But." I looked at him with concern.

"I know it's been a while since," He paused. "You know." Oh, we're talking about that now.

"Yes, I know." I moved my eyes to the desk, I didn't want to look him in the eye. I was somewhat scared. "Now I know you must have gotten better at your quirk. Correct?"
