Chapter Eight

Resurface!

Y/n's Pov:

Today is the big Sports Festival.

A lot of pro heroes are here today. They've come to watch and decided who they'll want for their agency.

I think this will interesting. I haven't met a lot of students who go here so this will be good to see some of them.

I made my way to the area where all the teachers are supposed to sit.

I walked over and greeted they others. I sat down and waited. "Where's Eraserhead and Present Mic?"

"Present Mic got Aizawa to be the co-host for this." I laughed a bit. What a - my thoughts were interrupted when someone sat next to me.

"Sorry, we haven't had a chance to meet." It was All Might.

"I saw you at the USJ but I haven't really introduced myself to anyone except the teachers."

He nodded. "So you're the guidance counselor yes?" I nodded and smiled. "Yep but only the emotional support counselor."

He made an 'oh' face. "That means Houndog got moved to career counselor." I nodded.

"Let me hear ya scream as our students make their way to the main stage!"

The crowd started cheering as each class got introduced. It was really loud but I'll manage.

All the students went and stood all together and listening to Midnight speak.

"For the student pledge, we have Katsuki Bakugo." Wow, I'm a little surprised.

He got up on the stage and spoke. "I just wanna say I'm gonna win." The students got upset.

I couldn't help but laugh a bit. That really does sound like him.

"Alright! The first faithful game of the festival!" A huge board appeared and the wheel on it spun until it stopped on 'Obstacle race'.

"Now then, take your places, contestants." The students went and stood in front of a large gate.

The buzzer sounded and the students ran. "How 'bout some color commentary, mummy man?"

"How did you talk me into this?" I'm still wondering that myself. "What should we be paying attention to in the early stages of the race?"

"The doorway."

He wasn't wrong. The students were all stuck in the tunnel pushing and shoving each other.

I watched them come out of the tunnel and fully go for it. Students used their quirks to make it past the obstacles.

I'm not gonna lie this was pretty interesting to watch.

I got up to get something to eat. We were on commercial break. I headed back to the seating area.
