A Long Day!

Y/n's Pov:

At the end of the first exam, all Class 1-A passed.

Now we were waiting for the second part of the exam. "So L/n tell me something about yourself."

I looked at her. "What exactly do you want to know?" She grinned. I didn't like that.

"Well, you don't look like a pro hero. So what exactly do you do?" I sighed. "I'm a guidance counselor."

She went crazy with that. "Wow! Really, I never would have guessed it. I thought maybe a lawyer or maid."

Is she trying to get underneath my skin?

I hummed in response. "Did you ever want to become a pro?" She asked. "Yeah, when I was a teenager."

"What happened?" I shrugged. "Just didn't work out." She kept pushing. I could tell Shota was listening.

"Was it like behavioral issues or what?" I sighed. "Does it matter?" I feel it.

I grabbed my water bottle and drank from it.

Shota noticed. "I'm just saying. You don't look like you've done anything wrong." She laughed.

"Unless you like killed someone." That wasn't a random guess was it?

I drank from my water bottle but I saw it was empty. When did I finish it?

"Oh my God! Did you actually?!" Stop it. "Wow, I never would have suspected."

Stop. "What happ-" I cut her off. "I have to use the bathroom." I quickly got up and got out of the stands.

I gotta get out of here.

Deep breathes. That's all I have to do.

I tried to calm myself down. I refilled my water bottle and took the left over petals and put them inside.

I drank from it slowly and I could feel everything washing away. I stopped and sighed.

I got myself together and decided to go back. When I walked out of the bathroom I ran into Shota.

"Are you alright?" He asked. I nodded. "Yeah, I just needed some air." He didn't believe me.

"It's because of what Joke said wasn't it." I sighed. "Yeah, it just got overwhelming."

He nodded. "Yeah, I know the feeling." I laughed a bit. "But can I ask something?"

Oh no. "Why didn't becoming a pro hero work out?" You already know I want to tell him.

I took a deep breath. "I'm gonna tell you. I swear I just, need more time." Sorry.

He thought for a moment then nodded. "Alright just tell me when you're ready."

I smiled. "Thanks." He came over and kissed me. I kissed back and we stayed like that for a minute or so.

We separated and looked at each other. "We should go back." He nodded. "Yeah, we should."

We kissed again for a minute or so then went back. When we did Joke was waiting for us.

We sat down and I had hoped she would stop talking to me but nope. "Yall took a while, don't tell me you were up to something scandalous."

I looked over at Shota who was listening but not looking. You know who cares.

I turned to her and smirked. "So what if we were? We didn't miss anything important did we?"

I could tell she was pissed. I laughed to myself.

Finally, the exam was over, and finally, time to go home.

Once Shota made sure everyone went to their dorms we went to our dorm and relaxed.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked as I took off my shoes. "Whatever you want." He said as he took off his scarf.

"Well, I can make chicken." He came over and kissed me. "That's perfect." I can't get over how smushy he is.

He doesn't seem like the type. Not that I'm complaining.

I went to the kitchen and started prepping the food. I heard the shower turn on letting me know Shota was in there.

I kinda wish today went a little better than it did.

I let Joke push me over the edge and I drank a lot of pink rose water. Not really a good idea but it couldn't be helped.

I still can't get her voice out of my head when she asked what happened. I know it wasn't a random one either.

She obviously knew what happened given the 'killing someone' joke. But I don't think asked to get a reaction out of me.

I think she asked to get a reaction out of Shota. Because she didn't look at me after she joked about it.

She was looking at him.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard the bathroom door open. "How's it going? Need help?"

I lifted a brow. He lifted his hands in defense. "Sorry, forgot I was banned from the kitchen."

I laughed a bit. "I'm almost done." He nodded and came over and just watched me cook.

When I was done I made the plates and he set them on the table. We sat and started eating. We talked and laughed.

"So I've been thinking." I looked up at him. "Maybe tomorrow night, we could go out."

He looked up at me for approval. I smiled at him. "Yeah, that'll be good." He smiled a bit and nodded.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked. "I'm not telling. You'll just have to wait and see."

I groaned. "If I'm just gonna find out why not tell me now?" He shook his head. "It takes away from the surprise."

I don't really like surprises. But I guess I can't help this one.

"Fine whatever." He laughed at me and I just rolled my eyes with a small smile.

We finished eating and washed the dishes. After we went and laid on the bed.

We were really close to falling asleep. Until we heard the automatic voice speak.

'Eraserhead two of your students are out after curfew and are fighting at the abandoned city base.'

Shota groaned and got up. "I'll be right back." He was not happy.

Looks like tomorrow will be a long day.
