"What is happening?! Can you hear me?!"

Reminiscent of floating underwater, Chuuya couldn't hear anything around him. Not an echo of hurried steps nor confused words. Air wasn't humid, but his chest was pressed, aggravating his breathing.

Until cracking returned.

"Nakahara-sama! Atsushi-sama had lost control!" a man's voice creaked. "Enemies had almost killed him before he went berserk. He destroyed the building we were in!"

The whole building...

"Have any of you been hurt?" Chuuya asked, a knot gnawing at his liver. Miraculously, composedness remained his voice. He had been in this job for a long time after all.

"We are alright. One man is injured mildly, but Atsushi-sama is chasing us! He'll kill us all!"

"Damn it," Chuuya let out quietly.

"What should we do?"

Omitting his sentiments for the boy, Chuuya took a deep breath. He thought about what to do, how to keep calm. He knew in order to retain straightaway, no personal sentiments shall be involved. And so he did it, feeling poisedness taking over the storm in his mind, cooling it down and clearing. Sagacity returning its hold, he opened his mouth.

"Go as far as you can from the main path and alley. Hide in a warehouse or where the trash is and try to cover up your smell. Don't move from there, keep quiet and wait. I will deal with him personally."

Silence on the other side was penetrating.

"... Thank you... Nakahara-sama. Thank you!"

The line went off.

A gloved hand had dropped and blue eyes coldly stared forward. Inquietude and resolve to put the end on it all being equally strong.

"Atsushi-sama had gone berserk?" one of the older men asked slowly, reading the executive's grim expression as something requiring a cautious approach.

No muscle contorting his face, Chuuya looked at him with still lifeless, shineless eyes.

"Unfortunately. But I won't be indirect here - it was to be expected in one way or another. Everyone, you know the area they are located in," he said flatly, scanning his intently listening squad.

"Head out in that direction as soon as I leave. If I were to need your assistance, I would call for you to be ready to shoot. If not, approach with weapons on high alert, cautiously. Understood?"

"Chuuya-san?"

Only a slight movement of orbs to the side was the only indicator of Chuuya's attention on Sachio, to whom he shifted into a whole different person of what he had been. Though, it didn't make Sachio falter with words.

"Are you going to kill him?" he asked seriously.

A smile broke Chuuya's stoic visage. Fully aware of what was layered behind that question, how many rumors heard and Boss' weird behavior seen, welcoming a resolve to give an answer everyone should deem logical.

"If needed," he stated, believably enough.

Diminishing his surprise, Sachio nodded curtly.
