Chapter Fifteen

We had Helen get Bennett as we later found his name was to go to the old abandoned copper mine entrance one way in and out the perfect trap we kept Helen with us just in case.

"So do you think he'll show?" Justin said.

"I hope just don't kill him okay," I said.

"Oh he'll live he just might not be walking," Justin said.

"Whatever," I said as I walked over to Bridgette who was talking with Helen.

"Hey, Bridgette you doing okay?" I said.

"Yeah Helen was telling me about some of her old boyfriends including Justin," Bridgette said piquing my interest.

"Do tell," I say but a voice ends the moment of fun.

"HEY HELEN YOU HERE" Yelled a bored sounding Bennett.

"Hide," Helen said as she popped her head out.

"Over here baby," she said as we stepped back into the shadows.

"Oh did you hear that bitch Bridgette was crying today in her I.T. class I think I may finally be getting to her," Bennett said with a shark-like smile on his face as he steps in.

The two of them kiss and then the door slams shut and I flick the lights on as we all appear and I have a death glare on my face as Helen brock away and came to step next to us.

"What the fuck is this?" Bennett said his eyes looking at all of us.

"You've been a class one ass whole," Justin said as he walked up to Bennett his hands clench into fists.

"I don't know what you're talking about man why the hell am I here," Bennett said with a confused look on his face.

"Why well you are due some payback," Justin said as he walked up to Bennett cracking his knuckles in both hands.

"Look man I don't know what you think I did but look you got the wrong guy," Bennett said as he put his hands up defensively and then I saw fear in his eyes.

"Oh cut bull shit I heard you tell her about it you said that bitch Bridgette was crying today in her I.T. class I think I may finally getting to her," Justin said as he got close to Bennett towing over him.

I wasn't sure if I could handle what was about to happen and I knew that Bridgette was not going to like it so I took her hand and turn her around as we listened to whatever it was that Justin did it didn't sound all that bad but it did look bad when we look around after he was done.

"I hope you learned your lesson," Justin said and we left.

Sophia, Justin and I said our goodbyes to Bridgette and thanked Helen for her help and then made our way down the street as our homes were in the same direction.

"Hey, Justin are you okay?" Sophia said as we all walked down the street.

"Yeah, Why?" Justin said.

"Because you kind of lost it in the I may not have been watching but with what I heard I didn't need to watch," I said.

"Justin," Sophia said as he sighed.

"Look I'll tell you guys one day just no today okay so can we leave it at that for now," Justin said stopping at the turning point for his street.

"Fine" Said Sophia and Justin left.

I got home pretty late and my mum and dad asked where I was but I told them that Sophia needed help with her homework and we lost track of time and they seem to buy it. I went up to my room and lay on my bed on my side and I began thinking about Adele as I closed my eyes to stop the tears from leaving I then heard my phone go off. Ignored it at first but then it went off again and I just grabbed it and I had two messages from Adele I shot up and checked the first said she was sorry and the second said see you at school tomorrow and that night I slept with a smile.

I woke up the next morning with a fully charged battery and a yerning heart Adele said she would see me today and I could not wait to see her. As I made my way down my road I ran into Sophia which was odd since she is almost always at school before me and even when she is not we never run into each other on our way to school.

"Well this is new," I said I saw her.

"Oh hey, Alyssa," Sophia said as she turned around.

"I never see you on my way to school what's going on?" I said as I matched my speed with hers.

"Oh yeah well I spent the night at Justin's so I'm forced to take a different route to school today," Sophia said.

"You spent the night at his place," I said in a snarky playful voice.

"Oh shut up I slept on his couch," Sophia said making me laugh.

"Anyway, you are looking a little happier lately something happen last night or what?" Sophia said.

"I got a text from Adele last night well tow the first said she was sorry and the second said see you at school tomorrow so that means that we are still well I guess together," I said with a slight smile.

"Wow you have really fallen for this girl huh," Sophia said.

"I guess I have," I said as we headed to school.

Sophia and I were half of the way there when out of nowhere a guy on a motorcycle came down the road and then skidded toward us until he and the bike were in front of us sideways.

"Can we help you?" I said not realising how assertive I sounded until after I had said those words.

"You can I want to apologize in person so here goes," Said the guy but the voice sounded strangely like a girl and then when they took the helmet off I saw it was Adele.

"Adele, what hell you ride a motorcycle is that what you have been doing that you cut me off about?" I said.

"Yeah, and I am sorry about that but trust me the way I had to get this bike is something that I had to do alone it was hard long and painful but please forgive me when I was getting this bike I had some time to think and I realised the I am seriously in love with you more than anyone else... Alyssa, I need you," Adele said and I saw sad and a pleading look in her eyes.

"Adele as long as you promise never to cut me off like that again I can forgive you and well... I love you too," I said and the Adele kissed me and I kissed her back.
