Chapter Sixty One

After getting up and leaving the tent I took a good look around and realised it was still early morning the sun was out but not high in the sky and hardly anyone was up and about.

"Good your up so ready to see what Justin has in store for us," Sophia said as Adele came out of the tent.

"Sure but first tell me there are some showers around here," I said.

"I'll see," Adele said pulling out a map she grabbed on the first day.

"By the way are your ears still ringing?" Sophia said.

"No," I said going along with Adele.

"I found them seems like the showers are just a few minute's walk over that way," Adele said pointing to the side of a small hill.

"Well, I am going to take a shower you two coming," I said.

"Sure," Sophia said.

"I might as well," Adele said.

"Yo Justin the girls and me are taking a shower you cool to wait here" Sophia called out.

"Sure have fun" We heard Justin call back before we went to grab some clean clothes and our towels.

"So what do you think that Justin has in store for us?" I said.

"As I said earlier I have no idea ever since we started dating I realised he is an oddball and he has been coming up with a lot of crazy ideas but none of them are crazy, crazy," Sophia said as we walked to the showers.

When we got the shower we were lucky that there wasn't a huge line so got in within the next 20 minutes it felt amazing to have the warm water wash over me after a night in the tent it washed away some acks I had. After my shower I got changed and walked out I was the first one done so I just waited for the others as I was waiting I walked up to the top of the hill and I could see the whole place from up there.

"Hey, dudes check out the view up here" I guy said from behind me I turned and saw five guys walking up the hill.

"Not bad," One said with a whistle.

"Check it it's the main stage," One said pointing to the view of the main stage.

"Oh hey there, you enjoying the view too," The first one said now noticing I was there.

"Yeah," I said.

"Alyssa hey Aly where'd you go" I heard Adele calling.

"Friend of yours?" The guy said realising she was calling me.

"Girlfriend," I said winking and hopping down the hill and into Adele's arms.

"Ready to go," Adele said and I nodded.

"Okay Justin what have you got for us," Sophia said.

"Yeah, and could you make it quick I'm starving," Adele said.

"All in good time but first pick a piece of paper from the hat," Justin said.

"Really," Adele said.

"The faster you do the faster you get to eat," Justin said.

"Fine" Adele said.

"That's the spirit," Justin said.

"Ostrich what the hell is the supposed to mean" Reading the slip of paper.

"All in good time," Justin said turning to me and Shopia we both pulled out a slip and so did Justin.

"Crocodile," I said reading my slip.

"Gazelle," Sophia said reading her own.

"Snake," Justin said.

"Well, we all have these wired pieces of paper with animals on them now what?" Adele asked.

"So last night I noticed an exotic meat shop so while you were showering I did some recon and the animals you have chosen are all on the menu so we are going to go to that shop and buy a burger consisting of the meat on your piece of paper," Justin said.

"So you are expecting me to eat crocodile," I said.

"Essentially," Justin said.

"You must be joking," I said.

"Well I am actually looking forward to trying out some ostrich," Adele said.

"Okay that's one vote Sohpia you're the tie-breaker," Justin said.

"Well I feel bad for throwing Aly under the bus but the thought of trying some exotic meat is really enticing," Sophia said and then they were all looking at me.

"Fine let's just get this over with," I said and they all chuckled.

Since Justin was the only one who knew was the shop was we followed him to the shop, the shop was right next to the main stage meaning when placing our orders we had to practically shout over the music. After we had our food we all went to a spot on the grass in front of the main stage the music was pretty good so we sat and ate our food I was the last to take a bite of my food. In the end, I ended up eating all of my food and along with being quite good it was also quite filling I looked at the others and they smiled at me making me scowl at them. "It was good," Was all I said and they all laughed with Adele pulling me into her side letting me rest on her and we stayed there like that while we watched the music on the main stage.

"Awwwwww well isn't that cute," Said a guy behind us.

"Oh it's you," I said turning to see the guy on the hill from earlier.

"So this must be your girlfriend," He said sitting down behind us with a few of his mates.

"Sorry, but who are you," I asked.

"Oh I'm Jace and this is Mark and the twins Rob and Robert," He said.

"This is my girlfriend Adele my best friend Sophia and her boyfriend Justin"

"Hi," Adele said oddly.

"Nice to meet you, you lot come here often?" Jace asked.

"First time," I said along with Sophia and Justin in unison.

"How about you?" Jace said noticing that Adele didn't answer.

"I used to come a lot but the last time was two years ago," Adele said.

"Well welcome back," Jace said.

"Yo Jace we got twenty minutes," Mark said.

"Right right, well apologies but we must cut this short see you guys around," Jace said getting up a leaving with his mates.

After he had left we decided to grab some lunch and head back to the tent as the music had a different band on that was a little too folk for our taste, in other words, boring. We got our lunch from a nice Indian shop that for whatever reason had not got a single customer until us and before you jump to conclusions the food was wonderful. I had a sweet and sour noodle dish Adele got a curry dish which she let me share her sides with as Sohpia and Justin went halves on a dish that was more lumps of chicken in a dip more than anything else but he seemed to enjoy it.
