Chapter Seventeen

I was walking to my house hand in hand with Adele telling her about the weirdest lunch hour I had ever had while she moved her thumb in circles around my hand.

"And then she just sits down and Sophia practically invites her into our friend group," I said.

"Well that is unusual even for Helen," I said.

"Do you know her?" I said.

"We hung out a few times," Adele said.

"In what way?" I asked.

"Well we were both angry and bored so yeah we had some fun together," Adele said.

"I see," I said.

"Hey what I did with her was not love it was just something to let me forget what was going on at home and I needed something that would need all my focus, but with you it is different I didn't need her but I need you and I do love you," Adele said and kissed me.

"Oh hell," I said as we got to my house.

"What's wrong hun?" Adele said.

"See that SUV in the driveway well I happen to know the driver," I said.

"Will they be a problem?" Adelle said.

"Not for us, but it may mean we will have to do some serious convincing to get you to stay the night," I said.

As I opened the door I saw my mum and dad were in the living room with Sam and Seth they seemed to be getting along but I knew that one of them will ask.

"Hey mum dad I have a friend over if that is okay," I said and they looked past me straight to Adele.

"Ahh, Adele correct nice to see you again I hope you will stay for dinner we'd like to talk and get to know you better," My dad said with a smile.

"Actually dad that is what we wanted to ask you I was hoping she could stay the night in my room like a sleepover," I said.

"Well as long as she promises not to do anything she can stay," My mum said.

"And what do you mean by do anything mum?" I asked.

"Um that will be my fault I may have let it slip that you two may be a thing like together," Samantha said.

"You did, what, I told you because I trusted that you could keep a secret," I said slightly lashing out at her.

"I know and I am sorry but like I said I let it slip I didn't mean to let them know," Samantha said.

"Girls girls listen it is alright Samantha you should have tried harder to keep your sister's secrets that is right but Alyssa we have no say over who you fall in love with that is your decision and yours alone," My mum said.

"Thanks, mum," I said with a weak smile.

"Hey, are we cool now?" My sister said.

"As long as you keep my secrets from now on," I said.

"Deal," She said and we hugged.

"Looks like you get to stay," I said turning to Adele and she smiled.

"Well I will have to get dinner started so I will get on that why don't you girls go and play some games upstairs," My mum said and I nodded taking Adele's hand in mine.

Later in my room, we were sitting on my bed and Adele was kissing me gently as she put her hand on my cheek she just gently brushed her lips on mine. She was being very gentle with me I was surprised at how gentle she was being I was thinking she was going to be slightly rougher with me like push on me or something. In truth, it was as if I was tacking the lead and I was enjoying it the feeling of her soft lips softly pressed agents mine her tongue moving across my lips.

"You taste good" Adele said with a smile and my heart skipped a beat as she said it.

"Don't say that stuff," I said.

"Why not I can tell you liked it," Adele said as she kissed me on my forehead.

"Ummm," I said as she moved to my neck then there was a knock on my door.

"Come in," I said as we pulled away.

"Hey," Said Seth.

"Seth, to what do I owe the pleasure," I said leaning in on Adele as he came in.

"Just came to let you know that your sister is still sorry for the whole letting it slip thing," Seth said.

"She can stop freaking out we're cool now go tell her that so you two can make out or whatever it is you do when you are alone," I said and he nodded.

"As you wish and I will say you two do look good together," He said with a cheeky smile before leaving.

"He's certainly cheeky," Adele said as she wrapped her arm around my shoulders.

"That's the main reason my sis likes him so much," I said.

Just then my phone went off I flopped on my bed to grab it as I did I patted the space next to me for Adele to lay down next to me.

"Hello," I said as Adele lay down.

"Hey this Alyssa right Sophia gave me your number I hope that's okay," Said Helen as I laced the fingers of my free hand with Adele's.

"It's alright but remind me to tell her to ask me next time she decides to just give my number away," I said.

"Sure I just wanted to say that I had a good time today so thanks for that," She said as Adele kissed my temple making me blush.

"Sure... any time," I said thinking that maybe she is not so bad after all.

"Great see ya," She said before hanging up.

"Who was that?" Adele said as she kissed me.

"Just Helen thanking me for a good time at lunch," I said cupping Adele's cheek and kissing her back.

"Dinners ready kiddos come and get it" My mum called out from the bottom of the stairs.

"You ready to go down?" I said.

"Soon," She said kissing me again still being as soft as before.

The two of us got down five minutes later and we both sat down without a word I looked at Adele and she was surprised at the food my mum had prepared.

"Something wrong?" I said as I sat down.

"No just I've never seen food like this like what do you even call that?" She said pointing at a bowl in the centre of the table as she took the seat next to me.

"It's called Piaya it is a Valencian rice dish," My mum said.

"Try it, it's my favourite," I said.

"Sure looks good," Adele said.

"You two came down late everything okay?" My mum said.

"We were in the middle of a level and wanted to get it done as soon as possible," I said.

"Alright now that everyone is here please eat and enjoy," My mum said sitting down.
