Chapter Twenty

I got to my first class which was with Helen and Sophia I sat at the back next to the widow best seat in the house Sophia next to me and Helen just in front.

"So we saw you know who was fighting but who was the other guy?" Sophia said.

"I don't know and I don't care," I said.

"Really because thanks to Bennett he flattened you," Sophia said.

"That is exactly why I don't want to know," I said.

"Names Christopher" Helen said turning to see us.

"And you know this how," I said.

"Freind from the crew I used to run with," Helen said.

"Is he nice like you are or evil like Bennett?" Sophia asked.

"Well he is nicer than Bennett but not as nice as me," Helen said.

"Do Bennett and Christopher fight a lot?" I asked.

"Well, I have no idea why Bennett picked a fight with Christopher I mean Christopher had always been stronger than everyone he came in to contact with but then again Bennett was holding his own I guess Bennett challenged him to feel more powerful or prove something likely to himself," Helen said.

"Why, is he insecure or something?" Sophia said.

"Very," Helen said.

"And suddenly the asshat becomes a loser," Sophia said making me smile.

"YOU THREE AT THE BACK PIPE DOWN OR IT'S DETENTION FOR ALL OF YOU" Yelled the teacher making a few of the other kids laugh at us.

"Sorry sir" We all said in unison.

The rest of the class passed by quick and after getting out I found myself looking for Adele within seconds I guess she was doing the same because I found her in moments and hugged when we got close enough.

"Hey there," I said as we held each other in our arms.

"Hey," Adele said as we pulled apart and laced our fingers together as we stood side by side.

"So you really are together," Helen said as he came up to us.

"Helen" Adele said in a strange way.

"Adele" Helen said in the same way like they were old friends.

"It's good to see you taking a break from being the big bad bully to try your hand at high school romance," Helen said.

"I'm not just trying my hand at it am in it we are in love real love right Alyssa," Adele said as she pulled me close and nuzzled her head on mine and I smiled.

"I see well I wish you all the best oh and Alyssa this fell out of your bag when you left the class I didn't open it, promise," Helen said with a wink as she handed me a letter.

I took the letter and did not recognize it but Helen had already left before I could say anything so I shoved it in my bag and headed down the hall with Adele. The rest of the classes leading up to lunch were all with Adele so I was given the chance to make sure that she went to them and learnt something from them. Later we went to lunch together and I sat down with her the others arrived one after the other about five minutes apart from each other Sophia and Justin being the last to arrive.

"Hey we should do something this weekend all of us," Sophia said.

"Like what?" I said as I sat back leaning on Adele.

"How about we all spent the weekend at my place you can bring sleeping bags and stuff and we can have a tow day sleepover and don't worry I have many things to keep us entertained," Sophia said.

"Sounds cool like a retreat," Helen said.

"It does sound like fun," Adele said.

"You have your little tow day fun I'll sit this one out, let you have a girls-only retreat," Justin said and we all nodded thanks at him.

"Right so on Friday all meet me at the cafe by the park and I will take you to my place," Sophia said.

"Hey do mind if I and Adele turn up a little late I know where you live so I'll be there but I want to talk to her about something before we get there," I said and Sophia nodded.

"What do you want to talk about?" Adele asked.

"Wait till Friday," I said as I kissed her.

"So will we be sleeping in your room or not," Helen said.

"Oh no, I will be spending the night downstairs with the rest of you my parents are out for the weekend so we have the whole place to us," Sophia said and by then I was excited.

"Cool in the past I only ever get to see your house with your parents in it," I said.

"Oh yeah they never let you upstairs so when you get there I'll show you around," Sophia said I smiled at her with a nod.

Later I am at my house with Samantha and we are having another one of our competitions the first one to build an Iron golem in our Minecraft world wins.

"So you gonna stay there for two full days?" My sister said.

"That's the plan" I replied.

"So how many of you will there be?" Sam asked.

"Including me and Adele 5," I said.

"Who are the other two and why?" Sam asked.

"Helen and Bridgette, Bridgette because we're friends and Helen because Sophia wants me to put trust in Helen's new be a better person program," I said.

"Helen is trying to be a better person," Sam said.

"Right so you can you can see why I don't believe it," I said.

"Actually after what you, said about her helping you to beat down on Bennett for what he did to Bridgette, I think knowing what I know about her she may really be trying to change," Sam said.

"Not you too am I the only one that doesn't trust her," I said knowing the answer.

"From what it sounds like..." Sam said but I cut her off.

"Yeah I know I am the only one I was just saying to make sure I was more asking myself than anything," I said.

It was Friday and I was with Adele at my place she had grabbed a few pillows and a duvet which she had shoved in a bag and brought to my house before we made our way to Sophia's.

"So you said that you wanted to talk to me about something before we go to your mate's house," Adele said.

I kissed her and she deepened the kiss and pulled me in before we broke apart.

"I needed that thanks," I said.

"Any time I will always be there to put your mind at ease in any way I can," Adele said.

"Good because I do need to talk to you," I said.
