Chapter Fifty Three

I got on the back of Adele's bike and she smiled at me knowing what the phone call was about I put my helmet on hiding my face and she rolled her eyes before she revved her bike's engine before taking off onto the road. We meet up with my sister outside the apparent when she saw us she smiled a smile of victory what victory she was celebrating though I'm not sure.

"So sis you can't stay this is for me and Adele and no I don't know why mum and dad got me a place like this so if you must know go and ask them otherwise welcome," I said and she sighed with a smile.

"Fine take me up," Sam said.

"As you wish," I said.

"Holy crap this is something else are you sure I can't stay just for a day or two," Sam said as we entered.

"Weren't you looking for a place already?" I said as I leaned against a table.

"So they told you about that huh," Sam said.

"That is kind of why they got me a place at all," I said.

"Right and it had nothing to do with the fact that they are using the house as an auction house," Sam said.

"Ahhhh details details," I said making us both laugh.

"Not to crash the mood but how did things go with Seth," Adele asked.

"Well we are still together but we are going through a rough patch so we are taking some time apart," Sam said.

"Well that's good you two are perfect other than me and Adele I don't know any couple that is more compatible than the two of you," I said.

"Thanks for saying so it does make me think about going back to him at some point," Sam said.

The three of us talked for hours before Sam left for the place which she had got she showed me pictures of her place it was a nice small and cute little apartment not too far from where we were.

"Do you really think that we are more compatible than them?" Adele said wrapping her arms around my shoulders from behind.

"Look I don't know the future but I do know that right now there is no one else that I would want to spend the rest of my life with," I said turning around in her arms she smiles and kisses me and I kiss her back.

The rest of that week went by in a flash I had fun with all my friends and me and Adele spent almost every moment we could get to sneak off and make out she had her favourite spot to do so which was behind the old gym. Things were even going well with Helen she had perked up and was not letting the fact that I was practically ignoring her get her down it seemed as if she was fighting for my friendship.

"Yo Monday girl" I heard Justin say behind me as I opened my locker.

"Hey Justin, where's Sophia," I said realising she wasn't with him.

"Ill," He said.

"That sucks what's wrong with her," I asked.

"Not sure but from what it sounded like she probably just ate something that was off by a few weeks or so," Justin said.

"Well will she be well enough for this trip," I said.

"Oh yeah she'll be fine you know her she is a fighter," Justin said.

The two of us went to our homeroom and sat down waiting for the morning announcements.

"Now everyone listen up I know that golden week is in two weeks but that doesn't mean you can slack off as if you don't pass your pre-exam test you will tack make-ups during the golden week," The teacher said getting a groan from the class.

"Hey level with me will Adele pass," Justin said.

"Well she is definitely getting better and she has the confidence but as you know it takes more than that to pass these tests," I said.

"Soooo," Justin said.

"So I don't know we will just have to hope and pray she can do it," I said.

"Well if she needs help I can set up a study group at my place later tonight," Justin said.

"You know what sure at this point I will take all the help I can get to make her pass," I said and Justin smiled with a nod.

I found Adele by the bike sheds she was yelling at someone I didn't know who but for being the bully she had enemies I hid by the wall and listened in on their conversation.

"You and your crazy delusions are finally getting the better of you," Adele said.

"My delusions you're the one trying to back out of a deal you struck," Said a girl she was clearly angry.

"The deal no longer means anything as things have changed when I made the deal I never thought that what happened was possible," Adele said trying to calm her down.

"It's that little bitch isn't it the one you've been hanging out with," She said.

"Call my girlfriend that again and you'll regret it," Adele said she sounded more pissed than ever before.

"Just watch your self Adele you have made some powerful enemies," She said as she left I hid behind a bin as she walked past.

"What the hell was all that about," I said revealing myself after she had left.

"Nothing I want you involved in," Adele said.

"What's that supposed to mean," I said.

"It means that it is my problem so it is my job to fix it," Adele said looking at me with kind and hopeful eyes.

"I will help," I said but was cut off before saying any more.

"NO, YOU WON'T... Look I just don't want you to get hurt and like you heard her say I have made some powerful enemies people that if they get close to you could hurt you and I can't let that happen so to stop them from going after you I have made my self a target," Adele said.

"Whatever anyway with pre-exam tests coming up you need to pass so we were having a study session at Justin's place after school today so you had better be there if you don't pass then you can't go to the festival in two weeks," I said with a wink and a smile that made Adele blush.

"Oh you don't need to worry about me I'll be fine," Adele said.

"Then prove it at the study session with Justin today," I said giving her a prove it or else glare.

"Fine what time should I be there," Adele said.

"It's after school so we'll just follow his car on the bike," I said

"Got it," Adele said still confident in her ability.
