I opened my eyes and had a splitting headache I looked around and I soon realised I was in a hospital but was unsure why I heard a small sound and looked to see a sleeping Adele with her head on the bed in her arms as she sat in a chair.

"Hey Adele wake up," I said giving her a small shake.

When she opened her eyes and saw me she immediately hugged me without a word and pulled me in tight I hugged her back but wanted to ask what happened.

"What's going on why am I in the hospital?" I said as Adele pulled away.

"You mean you don't remember," Adele said and I shook my head.

"Well you have been out for about sixteen hours but yesterday your mum called us both down but you suddenly just collapsed on the floor and won't get up you were completely unresponsive I was terrified," Adele said.

"Why," I said with a small laugh.

"I was worried I would lose you," Adele said.

"I would never leave you and you will never lose me never understand," I said as I put my hand on hers.

"Yeah anyway your family will want to know your okay they went to the cafeteria 20 minutes ago so I'll go grab them you good to stay here for a bit," Adele said.

"No problem," I said with a smile and she left.

I looked around my room and remembered why I hate hospitals I grabbed the remote that luckily was not too far away from the bed after flicking through the channels and getting nothing but 7 different news channels and only one bad kung fu movie I gave up and turned it off.

"Hey, there kido how are you feeling," My dad said as he walked in with Adele and the rest of my family behind him.

"I'm doing alright I do have quite a headache though," I said.

"Yes the doc said you would be feeling some kind of pain like that," Sam said as she took the seat next to my bed.

"Do the doctors know what caused me to collapse?" I said.

"Not at the moment but they did say that they would soon find out as they were doing a few tests before we left for the cafeteria," Sam said.

"Ah I see you are all here and she's awake good," Said a doctor as he entered the room.

"Do you know what caused her sudden collapse?" My mother asked.

"Well for the tests we can only draw the conclusion that it was stress," The doctor said.

"Stress that doesn't make sense things have been good recently nothing is really stressful," I said.

"Stress can sometimes be subconscious you could be stressing about something without realising it and don't worry this is normal for those at your age even so I would take a few days off school if I were you just to be safe," The doctor said.

"So I'm free to go," I said

"That's right just need your mum and dad here to sign the discharge papers and you can be on your way," The doctor said with a smile.

The drive home was long and quiet I guess they all were trying to give me some time to go over everything but all could think about was Adele and how happy I was that it was her I woke up to. I lay my head on her solder as we drove home and she wrapped her hand around my shoulder and put her head on mine and I felt safe in her arms as we leaned into each other. We got home and my mum called the school to tell them about what was going on and that I would be out of school for the rest of the week and then said I should get some rest but I had my fill after being out for sixteen hours. Instead, I pulled Adele into my room and kissed her she kissed me back and pushed the door closed she smiled into the kiss and then pulled away.

"Something wrong," I said.

"No just happy your okay" Adele said but I could tell there was more.

"That's not all is it," I said my hands around her waist.

"I was just wondering about the future and plans," Adele said.

"Any plan I'm a part of?" I asked.

"One but I'm not sure it will happen and you need to agree to it first," Adele said.

"Agree to what?" I said.

"Us spending a night together in the sense that we sleep together," Adele said turning red.

"I'm guessing that bad description of yours was referring to sex and if so then yes I agree but not here and not now," I said.

"I didn't mean now but some time in the future," Adele said.

"Of course but we will need to find a more discreet and private place than my bedroom and a place with a lockable door," I said.

"That would make sense," Adele said.

I smiled at her and pulled her back in for a kiss as she kissed me she put her hands in my back pockets and I let her she pulled the lower half of my body close to her lower half.

"Hey, can you make me a promise," I said baking the kiss only for Adele to move her lips down and begin kissing along my neck.

"I'll try," She said as she kissed me down to my shoulder.

"I'll be out of school for a couple of days as you know but I still want you to go to class while I'm out," I said between a few gasps as Adele kissed me.

"Really I was going to stay here and take care of you," Adele said pulling back and putting her forehead to mine.

"No, I will be fine here but I want you to be doing want you can you are smart yes but when finals roll around I want to know I can count on you to pass with ease," I said.

"Okay I get it," Adele said.

"Thanks, Adele," I said kissing her.

The next two days passed nice and quick and I was enjoying having the whole house to myself for a few hours each day. Per my parent's request, I had to not study for the whole two days which I understood but was a little sad about. Sophia came over yesterday and we had a chance to catch up on whatever was going on. She was also my informant to make sure that Adele was going to class or as many as possible luckily she was making an effort so I decided not to let her know that I had got Sophia to spy on her.
