It Had To Be You (GxG)

Chapter Five

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME I silently scream as I stand by a sink in the bathroom of the salty shack as I try and figure out why I am feeling this way out of all the people I could have fallen for in all the world. I just had to go and fall for the one person that scars the ever-loving crap out of me Adele may not even have any feelings for me and then I have to go and feel like this about her.

"Hey Alyssa it's Adele you doing okay in there," Adele said from the other side of the door.

"Fine just needed to get some water I'll be out in a minute," I said.

She then came in and locked the door without a word she looked down at her shoes.

"Are you okay?" I said turning to her.

"Alyssa I need to ask you something and I want your honest answer no dodging the question and no asking if I am serious just give me a straight answer as soon as I ask," Adele said.

"Okay yeah I promise to give you an answer," I said.

Adele opens her mouth but she is stopped before she can say anything by a knock on the door by my sister.

"Hey Alyssa Adele are you in there Seth is an idiot and remembered he had booked us in for a show and we will be late if we don't leave now and Adele if you don't mind I can pay to get you in it's no big deal," Samantha said.

"Sorry are you going to come with me or are you gonna..." I said.

"No, I'ma head home see you at school," Adele said before leaving looking sad.

I leave after her.

"Hey, sis so Adele will not be coming with us," I said.

"Huh, shame I was hoping that I was going to be able to get on or in her good books by getting her to come along with us," Samatha said as she watched Adele leave as did I wondering what she was going to ask me.

The three of us get back into Seth's car and he pulls out into the road with more speed and force than I had expected and within moments we were barrelling down the road onto the freeway. I move my body into a laying down position and close my eyes as I let the subtle movement of the car rock me to a shallow sleep I see the same image from last night. I see Adele straddling me with her legs her green emerald-like eyes looking down at me with a smile on her face a few strands of her golden blond hair fell in front of her face as her face moved towards mine. My eyes flash open as I shocked myself awake trying to push the memory out of my mind and the feelings out of my heart I put my earplugs in and waited for us to get to this show Seth booked for us.

We got to the show within 7 hours to midnight Seth goes to the ticket desk and comes back with three VIP all-access passes we enter the main area of the show and to my surprise on the stage in full swing is My Chemical Romance one of my all-time favourite bands.

"My Chemical Romance," I said with surprise and glee.

"Yep I may have done my homework on you and these passes will allow us to go backstage a have a chat with the band later," Said Seth.

"Seriously," I said and he nodded.

After a few more songs the band declares that they are going behind the stage for a few before returning Seth then motions us to follow him as we make our way backstage. As we get backstage I see the band all drinking intensely from chilled water bottles the life of a rock star must take its toll to be expected I guess. They see us and notice our VIP passes and they tell us to come over and hang out before they go back up on stage we sat with them for 15 minutes talking, taking pictures, selfies and relaxing they even let me take a peek at some lyrics of a new song they were working on which was unbelievably nice. As the clock hours got closer to midnight I asked Seth if he knew where we would be sleeping he said there should be a hotel not too far from the concert hall so we said goodbye to the band a thanked them before heading out.

The hotel was nice enough for the area so I ordered a full English breakfast in bed for 8:30 am and lay my head on my pillow before falling asleep within seconds. I woke up at 7:25 and thankfully I was able to avoid the Adele dream and so I lay in bed and waited for the arrival of my bacon and eggs which I was looking forward to. After the room service which was fabulous if I may say so I got up and put on the extra pair of clothes that I had packed for this road trip on Friday after school. I go to the room that Samantha and Seth said they were sharing for the night I knock on the door and my sister says enter I open the door walk in and see Seth face down asleep with his shirt off and I don't think I want to know why. Samantha was sitting up in the bed with a tank top on as she scrolled through her phone I walk up to her and sat on her side of the bed then pulled my feet up into a crossed leg position.

"So did you have a fun night," I asked with a shark-like smile.

"There was a moment," Samatha said returning the smile.

"Oooh a moment do tell," I said.

"Over my dead body anyway I thought you weren't a fan of Seth's," Samantha said.

"That was before I began enjoying this road trip," I said.

"Whatever" Samantha said.

The two of us chat together for a few more minutes before Seth rolls over and rubs his eyes open as he sits up Samantha throws a shirt at him and he puts it on as I turn the other way. Later we were all in his car and we went for a light lunch before he took us home as he turns onto my street I find myself thanking him for a great weekend. After Samantha and I waved him goodbye and he drove off I went to my room and dropped my stuff down before flopping face down on my bed. I then turn my face to the side and see a note left on my window I get up to grab it and my heart jumps.
