Chapter 20
"Ikaw kailan alis mo?"
She sighed. "Next week. I was worrying because you already left, tapos aalis pa ako." She looked so sad. "Walang mag-aalaga sa mga 'yon. Hindi naman kaya ni Sav lahat 'yon."
I laughed. "Ang pinagkaiba natin, ako hindi sure kung kailan babalik, pero ikaw babalik ka naman after a week."
"Kahit na."
I hugged her. "Don't be sad, hmm? Maiintindihan naman nila 'yon kasi graduation mo 'yon, eh. T'saka babalik ka naman."
"Yeah, I know." She smiled. "Take care of yourself there, okay? We're all one call away. Don't forget to eat well and update us. I have a friend there that will assist you,"
"Yes, mommy." I joked so she glared at me. "Joke."
We started walking while I'm pushing my cart and luggage. "To be honest, I get deja vu. A years ago I was the one receiving those advice I said. She said while laughing.
"Oo nga, 'no!
Daine stayed with me and watched me until I got on the plane. I was just reading a book for an hours then sleep, when I woke up, I read and ate again.
When the plane landed, I took a picture of it. But I won't post it.
I deactivated all my accounts before I went here because I wanna take a break from that. I use my social media accounts to treasure all my memories but people we're using them in a negative way.
Social media is becoming toxic day by day.
"Ciao, sei Briana? L'amica di Danica?" A beautiful girl asked me when I arrived at the house that Daine find me. (Hi are you Briana? Danica's friend?)
The girl was dressed in an all-black formal . You'll see how intimidating she is based on her physical looks. For a brief moment, I was terrified. She stands taller than I do. Her hair is long and ash gray in color. She's wearing a heavy makeup and large earrings. Her hair is straightened, and she is carrying a YSL bag.
"Sì, sono Briana. Caterina, vero?" Sagot ko. (Yes, I'm Briana. Katherine, right?)
I learned Italian before I went here. Actually, I know a lot of languages like, Italian, French, Spanish, Korean and Japanese. Mom made me attend on language class when I was a kid. At first I find it hard and I disagree about it, but eventually I know it would help me.
"You're good at Italian already, huh?" Tawa niya. "And just 'Katherine' or 'Kath", please. Not Catherine." Kinuha niya ang bagahe ko. "Ti aiuterò con esso. Andiamo." (I will help you with it. Here we go.)
"You liked the view?" She asked and placed my bag near the door.
"Grazie. (Thank you. And yes, I love the view.)
