After you and your boyfriend graduated you both ended up moving in together, you thought he would have received a volleyball scollership by the time you both graduated but he decided to quit. Knowing that Tendo is still by your side despite a few fights were you were scared he would leave only for him to prove you wrong.

Your boyfriend has a 'date' with Ushijima, old friends catching up before another big game sweeps Ushijima back to his busy volleyball life. You on the other hand are doing both you and your boyfriends laundry.

"Baby~~ have you seen my other lucky sock?"

You look up after folding one of Tendos favorite shirts, you glance down and notice he only has one sock on, his other is missing. You never understood why he saw them as his lucky socks until he did a whole dramatic speech on how his best friend Ushijima Wakatashi bought them for him as a gift and that is what makes them lucky.

"Did you check your underwear drawer? Your socks mysteriously end up in there and not the sock drawer which I put them."

Your boyfriend nods with a slight pout.

"Satori you have other socks" you sigh

"F/n."

"Okay okay, you still have time before you meet Ushijima, I'll help you look for it after I fold the rest of these clothes." Your boyfriend squints his eyes at you like he is trying to decide weather or not to push the matter.

"Okay~" You sigh mentally grateful that he didn't push the matter.. it's a freakin sock for crying out loud and if you remember right it has a hole where the big toe should be. Your boyfriend continues his search while you tend to the rest of the laundry. You could hear him tearing apart the house looking for his sock you cringe as a loud bang echoes through the house followed by a "I'm ok" from Tendo. Only when you looked back into the dryer to see if you forgot anything did you see a sight that could break you boyfriends heart. You found his lucky sock, well what's left of it.the hole which was once a peephole for his big toe has now became durasticly bigger. You hold the poor excuse for a sock in your hand examining it, there's no way you could fix this! Tendos little piggies would have no cover what so ever, it's more of a half ass ankle warm now. As you try to calm your self your boyfriend reenters the laundry room.

"Baby are you through yet so you can help me find— what's that?"

You quickly hide the not so lucky lucky sock behind your back as your boyfriend squints his eyes suspeciously at you.

"Nothing, Just folding still!" You can't help but to feel nervous under his gaze it's a automatic reaction.

Tendō didn't buy it and each step he took towards you, you took back trying to further your distance, unfortunately you didn't get far now that the wall has prevented you moving any further. Tendō Stoped Right infront of you his gaze never faultered although You kept your eyes on his chest that's infront of you, his strong arms wrapped around your waist catching you off gaurd, just enough to snatch his sock from your grasp. You knew what was next. The sad scene infront of you truly makes you wonder why the hell you fell for this drama queen. A almost audible shilling scream is one way to describe it, or perhaps like a teenage girl whose about to be murderd but as she screams her voice is to horse to be heard. Yea that. Tendō is on his knees hugging his once lucky sock while making that extremely desterbing sound.

Your startled as he jumps up from the floor, his expression could be explained as .. Nope can't be explained.

"I'm going to go to my happy place for a bit." The tone in his voice was kinda creepy, you watch him disappear around the corner slouched over. You couldn't help but feel bad, it's not like it was your fault but still seeing him that way was very painful for you so while Tendō isolated him self in the closet you grabbed your phone and called your only hope and prayed he would answer.

"Ushi-kun!" Ushijimas deep voice is like music to your ears as he replies to your pet name for him.

Meanwhile as you explain the situation your boyfriend continues his breakdown in the closet. You would think he would be in a relationship with Ushijima and not you by his actions.. anyway back to you.

"I understand, i must be honest.. I have never been fond of them my self, the pattern is distasteful ." Ushijima sighs

"But Ushi-kun you bought them for Satori."

Yes, I bought them for him I assumed he wanted them" he replies

"What gave you that assumption?" You couldn't help but be curious.

"He continuously stroked them." The Ushijima worded that made your eye twitch then it hit you.. Your boyfriend is semi attracted to things that are soft to the touch, you have caught him with your sweater or favorite blanket from time to time. Tendō found those socks lucky but not in the reason you would expect. Ushijima bought them for him, it came from the heart minus a observation gone misinterpreted. It's kinda cute now that you think about it.

"I think Satori would be happy with anything you get him, but if you ever decide to get him another pair of sock then perhaps get him what appeals to you," It was silent for a minute so you assumed Ushijima was thinking it over.

"Next time pick a pattern you like, I think Satori will love that."

"I see." You could hear the change of tone from Ushijima, he sounded if he was smiling.

"I need to go check on Satori, good bye Ushi-kun."

"Good bye."

The call ends and you let out a sigh.

"I'm going to continue getting ready." Your boyfriend suddenly appears from around the corner semi bubbly.

"O-okay."

You simply shook your head as your boyfriend leaves to meet Ushijima, he still wore his 'lucky' socks.

-later-

You were in the kitchen getting a glass of milk when Tendō came running through the front door into the bedroom, you thought nothing of it after the day you had.

"Hey~" you just took a drink of your milk when your boyfriend appears infront of you strutting a pose in his tee shirt and boxers, but when your eye catches his sock you almost choke on your milk

"Lucky socks." He smirks

You should have just bought him a pair and told him they are from Ushijima, because he is not going to hesitate wearing these every where he goes.

"No.."

"Baby~ don't be jealous~" he sings

You can't help but feel abit disturbed.

Ushijima bought him Cow pattern toe socks however the toe parts are pink utters. Suddenly you don't feel like drinking the glass of milk in your hand any more.

At least your boyfriend is happy.
