Xinlong kissed his wife as she laid down on the guest mattress, eyes closing and body falling into a deep sleep while her husband tip-toed out of the room. Him and Kara had spent the afternoon cooped up in a dingy motel, sweaty and half suffocated from all of their illicit activities. Xinlong poured his energy into the session as to keep his mind off of the ghastly figure he had seen. Kara didn't mind one bit though, bathing in the man's undivided attention and passion.

As the older turned to face the hall, a tall figure cloaked his sight. Xinlong jumped a bit, but regained his composure when he saw it was just ZeYu. The taller was pale and held almost no life in his eyes.

"C'mon." ZeYu said blankly, but grabbed Xinlong's arm and yanked him towards the living area. "Where?" Xinlong asked a tad frantic. "You'll see." ZeYu grumbled.

The two breached the hall and met three other men in the open area. MingRui stood weakly on his feet while his eyes scoured the carpet. Hanyu held a rather large crowbar, Zihao handled a baseball bat whilst MingRui fiddled with a thin wire.

"What's going on?" Xinlong inquired, eyes shifting nervously between the three men. "Here." Hanyu spoke softly as he pulled up a sharpened hatchet and held it in front of Xinlong. The younger took it cautiously.

"Ah my boy. You're back so soon." Ren chuckled with a light heart as Shuyang sat in the dainty chairs, facing his father. He felt like he had betrayed himself by coming back, but he had to do what was necessary. Rui needed to be safe and he needed to protect him.

Shuyang twiddled with the loose thread hanging from the sleeve of his shirt, slightly itching the skin beneath from the faint stimulation. "Couldn't say no." Shuyang lied through clenched teeth.

"Good boy." Ren said lowly.
