"Hanyu can you come inside? Someone's here for you." Dela peaked her head out the back door and sweetly delivered the line, reaching out her hand for the man ti take. Hanyu looked Zeyu's way but stood up regardless and took his wife's hand. The woman smiled up at her husband and closed the door behind them, pressing a fleeting kiss to his lips. He happily returned the gesture and followed the small woman to the living room, GouGou nowhere to be seen.

But, a certain someone else was right in Hanyu's face. The pungent stench of betrayal filled the man's nostrils as Mr. Ren stood droopily in his home. He looked a mess.

"Mr. Ren," he said starkly, " what can I do for you?"

The older slowly nodded, just processing the sound of the younger's voice. He had grown up very well, with a nice, even tone of voice.

"Hanyu- May I talk to you outside?" The older inquired as a few questioning glares were thrown his way. Xinlong held his wife's hand tighter in his own and scooted her closer to the wall. He had always been just a bit uneasy around the man, but for an unknown reason.

"Sure-" He said in a big breath as he lead the older man through the kitchen and to the back deck, knowing ZeYu was still out there.

Mr. Ren couldn't have come at a more convenient time, now that the two men were aware of his sentiments.

ZeYu looked towards the door and struggled to make out who was accompanying Hanyu's figure, the face not clearly interpreted in the low evening light.

As soon as the both of them were steady on the deck Hanyu offered the elder a chair and it was gladly accepted.

"Mr. Ren?" ZeYu asked cautiously, squinting a bit to take in the man's features. He couldn't be sure just by looking at his face if he were Shuyang or his father, but the voice and height would give it away pretty easily.

"Hi ZeYu." He said smally, casting his eyes downwards at his nervous hands. He knew he shouldn't, but he had to tell them. He needed to confess for his own piece of mind, and perhaps their's as well. He knew ZeYu grew up with a father, but what Zeyu had Hanyu lacked. It had been just Jia and her little boy until Hanyu's third year in high school, when Jia met a man that came from out of town. A city man with good, husbandly attributes. But by the time that man had become his father, Hanyu was already technically one himself. Of course, that sweet baby not making it.

"Hi." ZeYu said back, not paying much attention to his expressions or tone of voice. "I'm- I'm glad I could catch you both together." Ren said in a small chuckle though his brain felt absolutely scattered.

Zeyu and Hanyu exchanged glances before looking back at the man in front of them.

"I suppose Shuyang told you... all about it, Huh?" He started.
"ZeYu shook his head in denial. "Told us what?"

"Oh." Ren sighed. He thought for sure that with as much rebellion Shuyang had showed, he would have definitely spilt about his old man's terrible habits.

"Well, he will." Ren said, very positive with the statement.

"Why don't you just tell us." Hanyu said, a slash of venom on his tongue.

Ren mumbled and grumbled for a few minutes, sniffing and warding off the impending emotions. He didn't want to get all sappy since he really barley knew these two boys, but he had still watched them grow up from afar.

Ren could admit with all truth that he had missed out. All of his sons had been brought up right, only sorry he couldn't have been there for the oldest.

Jia was the only woman he had loved anyway.

Him and Shuyang had more in common that they thought.

"I'm just, sorry for what I put you through." He said finally after regurgitating his every action leading to this moment. He never once thought that he'd have to face what he had done.

"Elaborate." ZeYu griped in English, running his tongue over the rim of the glass he had just chugged not so long ago.

The two others looked at him in confusion.

"I said please explain." ZeYu explained, lips falling in a small smirk. The two nodded in understanding, mouths falling open in a silent 'Ah'.

"Well, my son Shuyang.... Is not my only son." Ren said as he looked up at the two men.

::::::

Hanyu was mad, Insanely angry and irrefutably disgruntled.

Mr. Ren had finished his life story, confessing everything to his two sons. They were shocked to say the least. ZeYu was silent with a far-off look in his eyes while Hanyu just fumed like an angry dragon.

"And I'm just saying I'm sorry." Ren quivered as he watched the two men, the dark coating most of their features. He could feel the tension between them all and his chest began to shake from the inside out.

"You should go." Hanyu breathed as he stood up from the seat and walked towards the door.
"Hanyu, let's talk, we're blood you know, we owe each other a little time." The older said shyly. Ren eyed the older boy, face now bathed in the thin sliver of light coming through the door.

"I don't owe you a damn thing. But you- you cheated me out of a father. You owe me 27 years of embarrassment." Hanyu seethed, opening the door wider and queueing the man back into the house.

Ren looked to ZeYu for any difference in reaction but got none.

With a small nod he stood up and left the two men to themselves.
