-Why make me guilty?-

"You're almost 18, my dear" Hermanita closed her foldable hand fan before placing it on the table, in front of (Y/N) "Aye, mother" replied (Y/N), looking at her foster mother with her tedious (e/c) eyes.

"I understand that the legacy will soon be titled as mine," (Y/N) wasn't stupid, but now that she thinks about it, she had no idea what to do with the legacy because there wasn't left to do whence she got the money.

"It's easier to say, you must take good care of it and continue each and every work" (Y/N) shook her head before looking at Hermanita "I do not want to spend countless hours of work, I must admit it is an honor but I want to live back in Encanto" Scrunching her nose in disgust at the thought of her working in an office "Then what do you suggest doing with our family name?" questioned Hermanita, sipping her warm tea as her eyes made its way towards (Y/N)'s.

(Y/N)'s lip quivers as she thinks, though she did not have a sufficient answer, she opened her mouth to speak "I am confident that Señora Guzman would open the door for me, The legacy should be kept in bank until it's appropriate to use," Hermanita raised her eyebrow, thinking about her answer "I-I could save the money," replied the girl, feeling insecure under her foster mother's gaze "If I may suggest a few," Please do.

"I suggest you keep the others working for you while you do your little errands. If things don't go as planned, the fortune will be bankrupt," Scratch that, (Y/N) do not want to work for her, not any more at least "You live your perfect life just like in the old times," Hermanita laughed as she covered her mouth fantasizing about an easy life "You use to slap people, you use to scream and throw tantrums while lower life-forms quiver under your glare! That was such an easy life, why live equal when you can have it all?"

In an instant, (Y/N) slammed her hand on the table making the room quiet, Hermanita's eyes widen at the loud noise "Don't throw my past in my face, I know what I did" (Y/N) growled, Hermanita scoffed and opened her folding hand fan before placing it over her mouth "If that's what you want," Hermanita didn't want to argue anymore for she cared less and less about the legacy besides, she have carried it for years and ran it her own way, for a fifty year old woman, it tired her.

"Do not come running to me if it does," (Y/N) rolled her eyes, clearly doubting that would happen, even if it does, she wouldn't worry too much.

"I came all this way, only for some stupid event" Hermanita whispered to herself before walking out of the room leaving (Y/N) alone with her own thoughts.

"You ready for tomorrow?" Fille asked, walking with her friends with three books in her arms "Yeah, I just hope my parents are here to see out performance" Lily sighed, stretching her legs as their heels click and clack on the floor "gotta admit-" with a pause "Mrs. Conlon did not go easy on us today, She probably had a bad day and decided to take it out on us" (Y/N) rolled her eyes, getting kinda grumpy, remembering somethings.

"uh, (Y/N)?" Fille called catching (Y/N)'s attention "what?" The older girl asked, raising an eyebrow at the younger girl "where is Encanto located?" this perked (Y/N) and Lily's attention "Encanto?" Lily asked, Fille was pretty much demanding an answer "I heard you and your mother talking about it yesterday," (Y/N) stopped and stared at the girl, shocked that someone like Fille would eavesdrop on them, it made her even more grumpy.

"why don't you mind your own business?" (Y/N) sassed, not because she didn't want to talk about Encanto, she could brag about it for an hour or two but it was because it made her feel so far away from home than she already was "I'm sorry," Fille frowned which made everyone feel uncomfortable with the awkward silence.

"I'm guessing you heard my past too?" (Y/N) frowned, giving Fille a slight glare, Fille nodded and looked down feeling ashamed. (Y/N) wasn't completely mad at her, for the last few years, she made friends and trusted Lily and Fille with somethings.

"I was isolated, okay? I didn't know any better so I threw tantrums and took my anger out on people" (Y/N) sighed, she trusted Fille and Lily but she also felt slightly uncomfortable talking about sensitive things "really? You don't seem to be that kind of person, although I do admit your temper is-..." Lily pursed her lips to mention (Y/N)'s temper, Fille nodded as the three made their way to the library, continuing their walk.

"sorry," Lily apologized before she continued "It's okay. I guess, I grew up and finally knew what I did was wrong" Fille nodded in understanding before tapping the edge of the book she was holding "does it have something to do with your lover?" Lily smiled, thinking about her grumpy, mysterious friend being soft around her lover "wait, (Y/N) has a mister?" Fille gasped not believing someone like her to have someone she can call lover.

"Yeah, we both have" Lily raised an eyebrow at the younger girl, confused, not remembering if they told her or not "uh, I know you have a lover but (Y/N)?" Fille pouts making (Y/N) furrow her eyebrows "what does that suppose to mean?" The older girls had to admit that Fille was annoying but the two grew fond of her because even if she was annoying, she was a kind and caring person.

"what I'm saying is that, I don't believe it." Lily groaned before opening the door to the library, the trio had finally arrived to their destination which means they had to continue their conversation quietly.

"tell us the story!" Lily was then shushed by both, (Y/N) and the librarian, Fille sat down on a chair before placing all her books on the table.

"why do I have to prove it?" The girl questioned, "Aye, I told you my secrets. How am I suppose to know you trust us if you don't share some of your stories to us?" Good point.
"Fine, only because I love talking about my lover" Lily and Fille smirked at each other before turning back their gaze towards (Y/N)'s.

"It was two years ago, I was sent to Encanto to experience a fresh start..." As the story went on, (Y/N) explained how she met Camilo.
How much she hated his guts and how much she knew she wasn't going to last long but times changed when she caught Camilo staring at her and he caught her staring back.

"That time, I told myself that I was weak and had little to no hope in surviving" (Y/N) also explained how people use to judge her appearance, she use to be so skinny and pale which everyone found very unattractive.

But it all changed "I go as far to say, I was going to die" Fille and Lily scrunched their nose in annoyance "Now, we don't want to hear that negative attitude" said Fille "Yay, I was going to die!" (Y/N) smiled, her grin never made its way to her eyes which told them that it was sarcasm "whatever, go on" Lily chuckled at her friends.

"I found myself at the stage of womankind and fourteen years, a genius, spoiled-a general moral vagabond, a fool more or less, and a philosopher. Also I find that this combination cannot make one happy" (Y/N) explained, as if she was another person that had to judge herself for not knowing better.

"what made you change your mind?" It was a good question, but she was unsure which changed her first. Let's rewind, A child talked to her about how she can stay strong, and then Camilo introduced himself and told her about experiencing childhood, he then introduced her to the belonged. Was it her lover, Camilo? or having the chance to see the world differently?

"I don't know, maybe if I continue the story I might find out" (Y/N) sincerely answered, Lily and Fille smiled at each other.

"Camilo made his way to me and introduced be to the finer things in life that I hadn't bothered to gain knowledge of," (Y/N) smiled at the thought making Fille squeal and jumped from her chair "the next thing I knew, a sky full of stars yet I was staring at him" How in love she was yet she was somewhere between emotional and emotionless.

(Y/N)'s friends giggled at their cute friend who was dreaming about her lover, all the could think was...'I hope he knows how her eyes glisten whenever she talks about him'
