Chapter 4: Meeting in America pt.2

3rd Person P.O.V

Mai lead the group into... (A/N: A dungeon... Wait... Wrong story... Bye) A dark room. She turned on the lights and the group saw many kid toys. "You may be wondering why you're here. You are in this particular room because this is where the attacks mostly occur. This room is where I check if the toys are good to go, so they can be put into a toy store. I've been attacked here many times. I got a few bruises on my legs and arms in the beginning. One day a doll stood up and told me to return home. I went home and returned the next day and got badly hurt. From that point, the attacks have been escalating quickly." Mai said sadly.

James walked up to Mai, who was now crying. "It's alright, there's no need to cry." He said softly and hugged her. Mai hugged him back because James was whispering calm words to her.

Ayako took this as an advantage, "Mai... I never knew you had a boyfriend." She said mischievously. Both James and Mai blushed, making Oliver jealous.

"Enough of this nonsense, we need to get working." Oliver said coldly, but with a hint of jealousy. The SPR gang all nodded and went to work. Then everyone started to leave. "Miss Taniyama, may I speak with you for a moment?" He asked when everyone left. Mai nodded, "Can you please forget of what had happened in the past between us?" He asked, trying not to sound like he was begging.

Mai sighed, "Fine... But you have to call me Taniyama or Mai." She said calmly.

"I'll call you Mai, but you have to call me Naru." Oliver said a bit happy, but wasn't showing it.

Mai growled, "Fine, but you have to buy me a snack from the vending machine." She said angrily.

Naru sighed annoyingly, "Fine." he said coldly, leaving Mai so he could get a snack from the vending machine. "I can't believe her, making me get something from a vending machine. I thought she would say a store or something." He mumbled angrily.

Mai smiled at her victory, then she sighed. "Phew, I thought it was gonna be hard calling him, 'Doctor Oliver Davis'. At least I don't have to call him that anymore, it was exhausting." Mai complained.

Ayako and Monk who stayed near the door, but hid to make sure Naru wouldn't notice him. They heard Naru and Mai, then they started to smirk at each other, knowing they had developed one mischievous plan. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" Ayako asked, Monk nodded. "Let's do it." He started with mischief in his voice. Now, their plan has begun.

John and Masako decided to go sight seeing for a while. They loved each other very much. They went to get ice cream, go to the park, and have a picnic.

Flashback~

Masako did like Naru, but she found John to be more romantic. A few days after Masako accepted her feelings for John. They found out he had quit priesthood. Masako bravely went up to him and asked, "Why?"

John smiled at her, while saying, "I quit priesthood because I wasn't allowed to have a relationship with the one I love," Masako felt saddened because she thought John didn't love her. "which is you, Masako." Masako's disappointment turned into a grin. "Which means, will you be my girlfriend, Masako Hara?" John added/asked nervously. Masako smiled and nodded happily, allowing John to become her boyfriend.

Flashback end~

Meanwhile, Yasuhara was conversing with James in the cafeteria and Lin was trying to speak to Madoka on his cellphone.

After a few hours, everyone began to meet up in the cafeteria. When everyone was there, Naru spoke. "Now that everyone is here, we will start to set up the cameras." He stated coldly, causing the SPR group to groan. "Mai, tea." He then said less coldly, making it Mai's turn to groan.

Me: You know Mai, I thought you were gone.

Mai: Well I'm not, since I am part of the story. Also, I read your first story on Short, Small Stories and it was okay for the first story, which was the rough draft.

Me: Thanks, I guess, but is anyone else here? Ohh, did anyone like the flashback?

Mai: The flashback was good, and Naru is also here.

Naru: You updated this too late, Mana-San.

Me: How dare you!! I'll have you know that the only reason I updated so late was because I wasn't able to work during the week.

Naru: Why weren't you able to work during the week!

Me: I wasn't able to because I was really sick and important things have been occurring!! Also, don't call me Mana-san!!

Naru: You say such petty excuses, Mana-san. * ignoring what Mana-chan said*

Me: Your lucky I'm kind, or I would've killed you.

Mai: *secretly tells the readers* Did you know that Mana-chan has a crush on Canada from Hetalia.

Me: I don't like him, HAHAHAHAHA. Why on Earth would you think that?

Mai: It's because of your laugh, it indicates that you're lying.
