Like what they planned, all of them had the chance to patrol at night. Unfortunately for Sapnap, he was partnered with Cersei.

For the past few days, the girl had been flirting with him. Yes it boosted his ego that out of everyone she was flirting with him, but it was getting frustrating. He was annoyed some times, while the other times she was just plain confusing.

He can still see the way she looks at Dream. He didn't know their past but from the looks of it Cersei had loved Dream. He was just thankful that she didn't show any bad blood towards George, well except from that first meeting.

"Hey! Pretty boy! You coming or what?" he heard Cersei yell. He shook his head and his lips scowled, "Wouldn't you want to know about coming." He grumbled.

This made Cersei stop. She looked at him in shock, in all the times that she had teased Sapnap this was the first time he had actually given a come back.

Her stomach flipped as he passed her and sent her a smirk. Her cheeks warmed up and she was sure that if it wasn't for her mask, he would have teased her about the redness on her cheeks.

Sapnap looked back, clearly feeling smug about the fact that he finally got to shut her up. "Oh did a cat got your tongue?" he teased.

She shook her head and jogged to him, they were to patrol at the outside of the gates of L'manburg. "Oh so we're talking about tongues again huh?" she asked.

He snickered, "Do you not have anything else to talk about aside from your tongue?" he asked. Cersei smirked, "Because it does wonders, you can ask Dream that." She mumbled.

Sapnap looked at her in disbelief, "I did not need to know that." He said. She chuckled and shook her head, they walked silently next to each other as they started their treck around the vicinity of the nation.

He then turned to her, just watching her. There were times like these where he can actually study her. Where it seems like she was off, lost in her mind.

She looked peaceful in Sapnap's eyes. A huge difference from the wall she builds up every time they get to talk. Whenever they do, they just exchange sarcastic words towards each other in hopes that someone cracks.

It seemed like a competition with them every time. It was amusing for the others to see who would get annoyed first, usually it was Sapnap which just fed Cersei's ego more.

"If you wanted to stare at me you could have said so rather than doing it when you think I'm not paying attention." She said. Sapnap snickered and stopped, grabbing her arm and spinning her. Pinning her to the wall of the nation, her breath hitched as she stared at him.

"Let go of me." she said. Sapnap snickered, "Oh so you're all bark no bite?" he said as he leaned his face closer to hers. She gulped as she stared him down.

"Come on, you actually didn't think i would just let you get away with all of the teasing and flirting that you do?" he asked. Cersei laughed, "You think that was flirting? Let me show you flirting." She challenged him.

Sapnap smirked, "Show me then." He whispered to her ear, lingering making the hairs on her back stand up. She was about to say something when she heard something.

Gripping Sapnap's arm, the boy froze. He didn't think it through, he thought that she would just push her away but there she was. Her hands travelling to his waist band.

He gulped and froze, but then he was brought back down to Earth when he felt her take out his pocket knife. She pushed him behind her, throwing the pocket knife to a creeper, pinning it to a tree.

It sizzled for a second until it exploded. The two stood there, breathing heavily. Both from the creeper but also to the moment they shared.

"Are you two okay?" Karl asked as him and George ran to them. Sapnap quietly snickered, "Yeah." He said tightly. This made Cersei to furrow her eyebrows in conclusion. She just realized how closed off Sapnap was whenever it was Karl or Quackity.

Which she could not understand because the both of them were very cool kids, "Shall we?' he asked her. She glanced at George and Karl and nodded at them. "It was a creeper but we're fine." She said as she followed Sapnap.

He stomped through the the night and Cersei decided to keep quiet, not wanting to be on his bad side. So as they finished, Sapnap rushed to the house him, George and Dream were staying at. She watched with a frown and tilted her head.

The sun was starting to rise. She turned out of L'manburg and her eyes saw the creeper crater. She side and walked to it. She knew they had to fill in the crater to prevent other mobs from spawning.

She was about to leave when the sunlight found Sapnap's pocket knife. Cersei sighed and jumped in the crater. Pulling out the knife from the tree and she jumped out of the crater and walked back inside the nation.
