Cersei found herself rolling her eyes as Techno and Dream argued in front of the map. The three Nighmares were supposed to plan what their next move was. George and Wilbur were right, the group can't just sit there like ducks and wait until another one of the Elements.

So despite the argument between Wilbur and Techno and Dream and George, the Nightmares took over Eret's library as they tried to remember which bases were still standing and those they destroyed.

"You know if you just didn't decapitated that soldier-" "Cersei would have died." Dream cut Techno off. Techno was about to say something but Dream cut him off again, "And by the way you were the one that sent a Ravager at them." He said.

This made Techno argue back making Dream argue back. It was all too much, Cersei missed them but not their arguments. She was pinching the bridge of her nose when the door opened.

She looked up and saw Tubbo and Tommy. "Um Cersei." The older teen muttered. She hummed and motioned for him to continue, "Sapnap-" "Oh no!" Dream yelled making the teens jump.

Cersei hit him in the head, "Stop it." she said. She looked back to the two and nodded, "What about Sapnap?" they asked. The two looked at each other and then back at Cersei, "He said that if you can, he's waiting by the foyer-" "And to tell Dream to suck it up because he had been hogging Cersei all day." Tommy cut Tubbo off.

Techno raised an eyebrow at them and then looked at Cersei. She let out a breath and sighed. "Thank you boys. Tell him I'll be out later." She said and with that they scurried out of the library.

The silence was defeaning for Cersei. She moved to the map, she scanned it until she found what she was looking for. Pointing her index finger at it, "The caves. That was the first place we destroyed and then that ravine and they moved to the mountains." She said.

She gathered her mask and cloak and was about to leave when Dream and Techno cleared their throat. She gulped and stopped, "First of all, you knew the answer and you let us argue?" Dream asked. Techno hummed, "And second since when did Sapnap care if we're hogging you?" he asked.

Cersei turned and sent them a smirk. "First of all, I couldn't cut you both off because you're both stubborn and stupid." She said as she crossed her arms.

"And me and Sapnap are friends, that's why he cares." She said. She stared at them and raise da challenging eyebrow and then rolled her eyes, "Let's wrap it up for today." She said as she turned again.

"Yeah because if we didn't we would have ruined your date with Sapnap!" Dream yelled. This made Cersei to flip him off making Techno laugh. The moment she got out of the room, George and Wilbur walked in.

"What's up with her?" Wilbur asked. "And who has a date with Sapnap?" George asked. Techno and Dream looked at each other. Not knowing what was going on with their best friend anymore.

Techno sighed as he looked down the map again. Dream pursed his lips and looked at George. "George." He said as he called for the two to walk closer. Techno started to show Wilbur the places they travelled to as Dream turned to George who was now standing next to him.

"What?" George asked skeptically as he looked at him. "What has Sapnap been up to?" he asked. Wilbur looked up and raised his eyebrows, "what the fuck does that mean?" he asked.

Techno sighed and run his hands through his hair. "George." Dream said. George sighed and shook his head, "I don't know. He's been going out more, going to patrols early and just hanging with Cersei a lot." He said.

Dream looked at Techno, sending him a knowing look. Wilbur shook his head in confusion, "What- What is going on?' he asked his brother and ex-enemy. George hummed and nodded, "Yeah, I want to know as well." He said.

"It seems Cersei and Sapnap have something going on." Techno said. This made Wilbur gasp in shock and amusement as a smirk appeared on his lips. "And we'll find out what." Dream finished for his friend as he looked at George.

"How the hell are we gonna do that?" the mushroom boy asked the blonde. Dream smirked, "By an intervention." He said. George snickered, "What are are teenage girls?" he asked.

Sapnap sent Cersei as smirk as they brought Fundy, Michael and Shroud to the nearby spring with Niki and Jack. Cersei rolled her eyes at him as he stood in the ankle deep water.

"Oh come on C, you can't be scared of a little water." He teased. Cersei scoffed and flipped him off. Niki gasped as she covered Michael's eyes, Jack doing the same with Shroud as Fundy laughed. "Children here Cersei!" Niki yelled.

The Nightmare just shrugged as she looked back at Sapnap who was now walking closer to her. She gripped the skirt of her white dress. She rarely wore dresses now but Niki had sewed her one and she fell in love with it. Not that the others realized, no one but Sapnap noticed because Cersei despised wearing anything close to skirts lately.

Her reason? It would get caught with the twigs and catch leaves as she walked. But Sapnap had to admit, she looked heavenly in that one. Especially when her hair was up in an up-do by Niki while Fundy and the kids placed flowers on her hair and Jack who helped Niki sew some flowers on the skirt. She was a sight to see.

It made Sapnap smile. She didn't look like the assassin that pinned him to tree the first time they saw each other. She wasn't the flirty warrior hired to save the people of L'manburg. She wasn't the ruthless Nightmare that he had heard from. She wasn't the same girl that Dream feared. She wasn't Nightmare, she was Cersei.

At that moment as she joked with Jack and threw pebbles with Fundy, she was just Cersei. Wilbur's advisor, Tommy and Tubbo's older sister figure, George and Ranboo's friend, Niki's close girl friend, Michael and Shroud's aunt, Techno and Dream's best friend. She was her.

Sapnap's thoughts were interrupted when Michael and Shroud splashed him with water. The others gasped as the kids ran to hide behind Cersei. The girl was laughing as Fundy and Jack helped Niki out of the water.

He tilted his head, "Now who did that?" he asked as he looked at the kids. "Ce!" they yelled. This made Cersei to stop laughing and to look at the children behind her. "Why you little-" "Cersei." Sapnap cut her off.

She looked at him with wide eyes, she backed away pushing the kids slightly. The toddlers running to the grass and mud. "Sap. It wasn't me." she said. He hummed and smirked, "The kids won't lie now won't they?" he asked making the two shake their heads.

Cersei scoffed as she stared at him, backing away. He laughed as she started to run. She picked up her skirt as she laughed, Sapnap grinned and caught her. Catching her by the waist, throwing her over his shoulder, "Sapnap!" she screeched.

He merely smiled and chuckled as he dropped her in the water. She gasped and started to splash him. Niki and Jack who stood with Fundy smiled at the sight.

It was refreshing to see the two most closed off and cold people of their group to laugh, smile and joke around. It was enough for them to believe, it was a perfect moment. A fairytale.

Sapnap gripped her waist as she chuckled. Small stray hairs fell from the braid. He smiled at her, their breathing heavy from joking around. Reaching his hand up, he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She let out a breath and he hummed, "Have I told you?" he asked.

She shook his head, "You look genuinely happy today." He whispered. Her heart leaped and the knots in her stomach tightened. Her breath hitched and he gripped her hand, "It's a good thing." He reassured her.

And like what felt like the most natural thing, she trusted him.
