As Techno and Cersei silently rode his horse to his home. "So you don't stay in L'manburg?" she asked. He chuckled and shook his head, "Oh no. As much as I think Wilbur is doing a great job with Tommy in that nation, I just don't like politics." He said.

She hummed and leaned her head on his beck. He smiled, "I didn't expect you to accept." He admitted. She nodded, "I didn't expect it as well." She said.

"Then why did you?" he asked her. She pursed her lips, "I saw his name. Wilbur Soot and I just remembered you." She admitted.

Techno nodded. The years of working with each other, Techno was always the one who opened up about his brothers. It didn't matter how he shows that he doesn't care, she always knew that he cared for them.

The silence was thick as they reached the snowy part. She had been told that her good friend lived in Snowchester. In all honesty she didn't mind the cold. "Did you know?" she finally asked.

Her heart finally falling to her stomach. She closed her eyes as she remembered the panic his body showed when she threatened George.

"About Dream?" Techno asked. She nodded slightly. He frowned, "No. Not until today at least when I saw him when you threatened them." He admitted.

She clenched her jaw and gripped his cloak. He sighed and gripped her hand with one hand as the other continued to hold the lead that was around his horse.

"If you knew, would you have come?" he asked. Cersei raised her head slightly as she looked at the night sky. The snow falling on her face. "Probably but if I knew I would have probably cut his head off the moment I saw that green hoodie of his." She said.

He let out a laugh as he knew she was reaching. She rolled her eyes, "Why are you laughing? I could be serious you know." She grumbled.

Techno shook his head, "It's alright. Everything is gonna be fine." He shushed her. She sighed and leaned her head on his back again. "I hope it will." She muttered.

He snickered, "Why? Do you have feelings for him still?" he asked. She stayed quiet and he sighed, "C, he has-" "George I know. I noticed he was standing closer to George. I tested that theory." She said.

He let out a laugh and nodded, "Yeah I saw that. Very out of reach for you." He said. Cersei smirked, "I don't care. If it was another woman I would have killed her but..." she trailed.

Techno raised his eyebrows as he pushed her slightly. Hopping off the horse as he put him on a lead and helped his friend down. "But?"

Cersei tilted her head at him and smirked, "But I think George gives him something a woman like me can't give." She said. This made Technoblade bust out laughing.

She smiled and shook her head. Suddenly her anger and bitterness about her ex lover having a new partner fading away as she realized the situation.

Dream was seeking something that no woman could give. Techno looked at her knowingly, "I know that look." He said with an amused smirk.

"You know what Tech, I'm not mad anymore. I'll just be petty." She said. He rolled his eyes, "So does that mean we can you know." He teased.

Cersei's mouth gaped and her cheeks reddened. This made Techno laugh again. She rolled her eyes and hit his arm, "Asshole." She said.

He looked at her knowingly, "Hey I was just being a good friend. Maybe I can still be with doing you an offer-" "Shut up. That was a one time thing." She said.

Techno nodded, "I know. You know I was just teasing." He said. She snickered but nodded, she looked around, "So what does the Technoblade the blood God does around here?" she asked.

He passed her her satchel and shrugged, "I farm potatoes." He said as he started to walk up the stairs. Cersei stopped, her eyebrows furrows, "You what?" she asked.

He turned and smirked, "I'm a potato farmer Cersei." He said and walked to his house. "No you are not!" she yelled as she followed after him.

There stood the best friends in front of Techno's crops. The Blood God, wearing nothing but a simple white button down tucked under some khaki colored pants, a straw hat on his head as he proudly showed his best friend his crops.

"Ta-da!" he said in his monotone voice. But he had a smirk on. She looked at him in disbelief, "This is not real." She said.

He snickered and pulled her arm, "Come and help me." he said. Cersei pulled her arm back and crossed her arms. She looked at him with furrowed eyebrows, "No." she said.

Techno rolled his eyes, "Oh come on. It's fun." He said. She looked at him and rolled her eyes. He snickered, "Fine be stubborn. Go sit on the stairs while I do my meditation." He said.

Cersei watched as her best friend walked to his crops and started hoeing down the ground. She shook her head and stomped to the stairs. She sat there, pouting as she watched him.

In all honesty, Techno did look like he was enjoying it. She leaned her head on the railing. Her mind wandering to the times she spent with him.

Cersei can see that he was still her Techno. He still had the Nightmare in him but he was more, calmer now. She pursed her lips. She can see the peace in him and she didn't want to ruin that.

She pulled out her communicator and started to fidget with it. She kept checking for new messages but nothing came. She used to envy people whose communicators had a whole lot of active contacts, while all she had was those with dead ones.

Then her mind betrayed her when she remembered Dream. Dream, what a pathetic mask to hide who he is. It was a poor way to hide the fact that he was a Nightmare and she hated it.

Her mind played all the memories they shared. Against the popular belief that the Nightmares only did killing, the trio had a whole lot of stories of just them in between all the blood shed.

It was something she knew she will take to the grave. She sighed as she replayed the posture that Dream showed. He was terrified that she would actually kill George. And that was enough to tell herself that he was indeed smitten with the glasses wearing mushroom boy.

Techno from his plot glanced at his friend. He sighed and furrowed his eyebrows. He had told Wilbur about her in hopes to make her stop in her missions.

Her and a number of graduates were the only ones left doing what they were trained to do. He wanted her to settle, find a home and retire her bow and arrow. But he knew it would take more than him to do that. He just wishes there would be something that makes her step down.

She didn't have to live like a Nightmare anymore.
