Despite hating the whole potato farmer front that Techno put up, there she was. Cersei Nightmare was hoeing the soil as Techno planted new potato seeds behind her.
"I can't believe you made me do this." she grumbled and Techno scoffed, "This is meditation." He said.
She rolled her eyes, "Meditation my ass." she said. Techno snickered and stood up straight as Cersei did the same. She raised an eyebrow at him and he hummed, "Maybe you could use this as time to think about what you and Dream were talking about last night." He said before crouching down again to plant seeds.
She looked at him in shock, "What- how would you know?" she asked. He laughed, "It's my house, I can hear you guys." he said.
She huffed and kicked some soil to him making him roll his eyes, "Stop." He said as they calmed down.
Silence engulfed the best friends as they worked on Techno's potato farm. Despite hating it, he was right. Cersei took the time to think about everything.
Techno was glancing at her and realized what she was thinking. "Don't do it." he said.
She chuckled, "How do you even know you're thinking the same thing as me?" she asked. Techno hummed, "Don't push him away." He said.
Cersei narrowed her eyes as she stuck the hoe on the ground as she leaned on it, "What?" she asked.
Techno rolled his eyes again, "You know how things goes when you push people who care for you away C. Don't do it again." He said. His words making her remember a dreaded memory.

The Ice Queen smirked at her as she continued to freeze Dream. Cersei growled at her, "Let him go!"
"Ah. Love. Always the thing that will destroy a person." She said making Cersei scoff.
"What do you know about love? You old bitch! No one loves you!" she yelled. The Ice Queen threw her to the wall, icicles pinning her to the wall.
"You don't know the truth huh? Well how would you? We left you in that institute to rot. To make you feel alone and this boy is ruining that, let me help you with that." she said before stabbing Dream in the heart.
She screamed as she sat up, sweat dripping down her face as she sobbed, hugging her knees.
Cersei looked around her, "Here! Is this what you want! Take it! Take it!" she yelled but before she could throw the ice heart in the air, Dream arrived and pulled her in his arms.
"Stop. Stop. Cersei, I'm here." He said calming her down. "She had you. She killed you-" he cut her off when he turned her around.
Dream cupped her cheeks, "I'm alive, I'm right here." He said and she hugged him tight.
He looked at Techno and the pink haired Nightmare sighed, "We have to find a way to get that thing away from her. It's eating her alive." He said.
Dream pulled away and looked at her, "Her powers-" "I don't care. I want you safe." She said.
Techno crouched at the couple and offered his hand, "I'll do it." she said as she stood up, summoning the Fire King and handed it to him but what they didn't know was that, they were deceived, the burned the forest and that was the part where Dream lost a canon life where she was running in the woods but she was too late.

Cersei sighed and walked to sit on the stairs as she watched Techno work on his potatoes.
She started humming, not realizing that Dream was leaning on the doorway of Techno's door.
It had been a while since Cersei had hummed. Or so he thinks. He walked to sit next to her and they just watched their best friend work.
She leaned her head on his shoulder as they just cherished the calm before the storm.
