Cersei sat by the water fountain in the yard of Eret's catsle. Her feet on the water, despite hating her powers because of her family, she knew she needed it to survive.

The fear and feeling of weakness really got to her. And it wasn't going away and she knew why. The words were repeating in her head. "Oh would you look at that, the Nightamres have their own champions to protect. Even you, Miss Nightmare."

She scoffed and flicked her hand and threw water harshly. She shook her head, they knew now and she hated that. For the first time in a long time she wasn't alone, given she found her two best friends again but now there was so much.

She doesn't just think about herself and the two other annoying boys she loves very much. She had the Beloveds, Tommy, Fundy and Wilbur, Niki, Jack, Charlie and Karl, Quackity, Eret and George. Oh god, Sapnap, she had him and she was upset that she did.

She was upset that she could hurt him. She can cause so much pain and she hated herself for that. She didn't want that. For the first time in a long time, she cared for more than two people and the moment they even get a single scar on their skin it was her fault.

"C." Dream's voice came from behind her. She hummed and started playing with the water. The moment Dream and Techno found her playing with the water, they knew there was something wrong.

The two sat next to her, Techno on the left and Dream on her right. "What's on your mind?" Techno whispered. She hummed, trying to figure out how to say something. Say what she had concluded, what she had reaklized.

She let out a breath, "Our enemies know too much." She muttered. They listened to her as she swirled the water on their feet. "They attack certain people that they think matters to us." She said as she looked up.

"The Snows attacked Fundy because I started to be fond of him and the kids. The Fires attacked George because Dream cares for him and the Stones attacked Tommy because he's Techno's youngest brother." She said and stopped playing with the water.

"You mean..." Techno trailed, his voice faltering. "They're going after all the people we care about." She said with a tight voice. "Cersei-" "They're gonna come after him." She cut Dream off.

"You don't know that." Dream said looking at Techno who frowned. "I do because the fucking Earth king said so. He said I found someone I cared for." She said as she furrowed her eyebrows.

"We'll protect them." Techno said. Cersei shook her head, "We don't protect people Tech. We destroy, we always have." She muttered. Dream shook his head, "People change. We've changed." He said.

"You two have." She said as she fumbled with her fingers. "Cersei, don't." Techno scolded her. Cersei looked at them, "Maybe this way I can actually protect someone. Like how you two protect people. Because the day I'll see Sapnap in pain like how Dream was in that fire or how Techno almost got crushed by that anvil, it will kill me."
