Cersei sat on the pole just by the gates of the nation. She watched as the sun started to rise. The sunlight covering the land and she frowned.

She didn't like it when the landscape was destroyed, especially by pesky mobs. She didn't understand why they were present in the world. She always asked herself what they were before.

She used to think about life after death, after all of their three lives were taken from them. Is there an after life? Another life? Heaven? Hell? Will they pay for their sins? Is there limbo? Or do they turn into those stupid mobs?

Her thoughts were interrupted when someone knocked on the pole. She looked down to see Sapnap looking up to her. She raised an eyebrow and looked away, not wanting to deal with anyone, especially with the boy that gets on her nerves.

Cersei have flirted with many people before. She had played and annoyed people before but there was something about Sapnap. There was something with his eyes, the way it fires up when he was actually angry, his dark hair and his facial expressions.

He was different but she didn't know what or why she was intrigued by him. She had met multiple people, more powerful, more annoying, arrogant but Sapnap was someone that didn't leave Cersei's mind.

Her thoughts of overthinking about why Sapnap had dug himself in her thoughts were interrupted again. Sapnap threw a pebble at her, hitting her back.

She scoffed and looked back down, the wind making her hair fly in the air, her eyes annoyed at him disturbing her time alone.

Sapnap merely rolled his eyes and raised the arrows he had collected from the fight. Her eyes softened for a bit and turned to the field where the mobs and they fought the night before and not one arrow was left.

She hummed and made sure that her mask was on properly. She climbed down and sighed as the warmth of the sunlight disappeared.

When Cersei's feet landed on the ground, she brushed of her clothes and looked at Sapnap. He didn't say anything but merely offered her her arrows.

She nodded and grabbed them and walked past him. But despite the want and need to not talk to him, Sapnap snickered. Cersei breathed deeply and stopped walking.

"The least you can do is say thank you." He said. Cersei shook her head and gripped her arrows, she turned her head and looked at him, "You didn't have to pick them up. I didn't ask you to." She said and started to walk away.

Sapnap scoffed, "You know I was being nice." He said making her stop again. She clenched her jaw and shook her head. "Maybe you should be nice from time to time. It could be good for you." He said loud enough to make her feel the sting in her heart.

Cersei turned around and stared at him. They stared at each other, without thinking, she dropped her arrows to the ground, raised her hands and pulled down her mask.

Sapnap's eyes widened in shock. It was the first time he saw her face, and the scar on her face was something other people would see as intimidating or scary but he didn't.

He thought of it as something he hadn't known yet. He had heard a lot of stories about the Nightmares and this one, the scar was something he knew would be a great story.

But from the way she looked at her, he knew he overstepped. He gulped as the sunlight finally reached the inside of the nation and showed her face clearer.

"I have been nice and look where it got me." she said and pointed at her face. "Do not assume things about me because of the stories you've heard Sapnap. There are so much more than those." She said as she stared at him.

His shoulders slumped and his face fell. Cersei huffed and shook her head, "I don't need you to tell me what I am Sapnap, I know who I am." She said and grabbed her arrows and walked away.

Leaving a stunned Sapnap under the sunlight with his thoughts, completely unaware that Ranboo had witnessed everything.
