She was down to two machines this morning, and she was doing good so far, which was definitely a positive. On the flip-side, they were giving her more medicine because of complications, that was a negative. So, she was doing better, but she was still laying on the line, so to speak, which was a bad place to be right now because she was finally recovering.

Nobody knew what was going to happen now, it was all too unpredictable. (Puns, puns)

I didn't know what to think, and by the looks of the doctors, neither did they. Which was even worse because if they didn't know, then they weren't prepared for whatever may happen.

It scared me, but every time I walked into the hospital room, I put on a strong mask and treaded through the eggshells. Ya know, just for precaution.
