"No Michael, it's not your choice. It's mine and nothing you could ever do will change that, ever. If I want to do that, then I will and you can't tell me no. It's not you business if I do it or not so just stay out of it," She growled at me.
We were fighting with each other because Teagan found a dude that he has a crush on and he wants to ask him on a date and i'm not having it.
"I understand that I can't tell you what to do or make you do anything but please hear me out. He's a jerk and a player and he's only gonna hurt you and you don't want that do you? Im just trying to save you," I explained.
"You just don't want me to go out with another boys that's not you, you're just jealous," She said.
"Yes I am jealous but I also just don't feel like watching you get hurt. He's nothing but trouble," I retorted.
"And you're not?" She spat.
"I changed, Teagan. I changed for you. Im not that cocky asshole that I used to be, Im better than that now. I just want to help you, okay? If you can't see that then go right ahead and hurt yourself but don't come crying to me when he kicks you to the curb," I yelled.
She didn't say anything, she just stared at me blankly.
"What, does the truth hurt?" I asked.
She didn't answer yet again.
"I'll leave now, it's obvious that you need time," She whispered.
She turned around to leave.
I spoke up just before she started walking away, "Or are you just leaving to go get the jerk?"
She stayed still, not turning around to face me. She thought before speaking, "You don't get it, you never did, you never will."
I stared at the back of her head like it was the last thing I'd ever look at, "I do get it, you just refuse to see things from two sides."
"Are you calling me one-sided?" She asked abruptly.
"That's not the point, see? You did it again, seeing things from one side. I mean that I get it. I get what your doing, you just want someone who will commit to you, like fully commit their lives to you. And if thats why you're going to him then you're making the wrong choice. Im right here Teagan, I've been right in front of your face the whole time but to you Im like glass."
"Whatever, you don't commit to anyone."
"That's what I used to be like. I'm willing to commit to you now, I don't want to you go to anyone else. I'll care about you and love you and show you what it's like to have a proper man. I'll fully commit my attention to you at all times and you could tell me anything. I'm right here. Here's your chance, take it or leave it," I explained.
She finally turned around to face me.
"I'll take it," She stated without emotion.
"Prove it."
