Teagan and I have just been chilling out for awhile, just settling down. Because for the first time since the accident everything was back to normal.
She could almost walk with out falling over. I didn't have to assist her in everything that she did. She didn't have daily check ups anymore. Her scratches and bruises were gone now.
She was good as new and I was enjoying it.
"Michael," Teagan called from upstairs.
"What, honey?" I called back.
"C'mere," was the only thing she said.
I walked upstairs and found her in the bathroom. I walked in and stood next to her with an arm around her waist supportively.
"What'd you want?" I asked softly.
"Can we go to a party? There's one at Jennings house tonight," She almost pleaded.
"Yeah, I don't see why not. But are you sure you really want to? Nick's parties are always bad news," I warned her.
I knew she would insist on going but I just wanted to make sure she knew what she had coming; even though she already knew.
"Yeah, I'm sure," She beamed, "Thank you."
She leaned up to kiss my lips.
"Mmm," I hummed into the kiss. She pulled away and rolled her eyes.
"Mind helping me find something to wear?" She asked.
"Never," I whispered and walked to the closet with her. I looked through all of her outfits. "I don't want you wearing something really revealing because that's only for me to see. So I guess I like this one."
I pointed to a knee length, black dress that would probably look absolutely stunning on her.
"That's my favorite," She commented on my choice.
"I think you'll look beautiful," I replied and handed her the dress, pushing her towards the bedroom, "Go get changed."
I sat down on the bed and watched her as she stripped out of her old outfit and began slipping on the dress. She put her legs in first and then pulled it up her body. Once she had it on correctly she pulled all her hair to one side and asked me to zip it up for her. I took the zipper between my fingers and pulled it up slowly, making sure to be careful with it.
She turned around and pecked my lips quickly before backing up and doing a twirl in front of me.
"What do you think?" She asked.
"It looks great, babe," I mused.
She smiled in contentment and went to the bathroom to touch up her hair. I took this time to change out of my old, black skinny jeans and into new ones and then slip on a clean t-shirt.
I looked in the mirror and fixed some bits of my hair that had become less spiked throughout the day. I sprayed a bit of hair spray over it, and then looked at my appearance in the mirror.
She stepped out of the bathroom a few minuets later. Her hair was now curled, and she had applied some eye makeup.
"Stunning," I commented.
"Handsome," She replied and poked my chest.
"Let's get going," I urged her towards the bedroom door and down the stairs. She decided that I was driving and sat down in the passenger seat. I got behind the wheel, and she tossed me the keys.
I started up the car and zoomed off to Jennings house.
I was a bit worried about her going to this part since she has just recently been getting back on her feet, but I think she's ready for it.
I took one hand off the steering wheel and place it on her knee, rubbing the skin below her dress. She placed her small hand in top of mine and took in a deep breath just as I parked the car.
"You ready?" I asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be."
