Mutual feeling?

Elina was really lost in thought after that day with him. That was their last talk.

He did everything he promised. She couldn't see him anymore around her and strangely enough she felt very lonely, even being with her nurse friend, Deku.

Deku also didn't bother to bring the topic of love between them and only talked for hospital works only. She felt even more incomplete that her friend didn't gave her any other advice.

Elina was worried if Deku found out about her snapping at him. She really didn't mean to. With the frustration of the arrange marriage and the way she didn't like how Shoto didn't stop them from eyeing her, she took out her anger on the poor lovable guy.

And strangely enough, after he went AWOL, she couldn't stop thinking about him wondering where he could be right now. And whenever she heard a whistle, she immediately turn to the owner of the sound looking if it's him or not.

In the buses after work, she would be lost in thought when she would hear a loud jingling noise. Mistaking it as a whistle, she would turn to see but feeling disappointed that it was the bus sensor for a stoppage, she would turn around and pay attention.

When she was at the mall with her friend Ibara for shopping, she heard another whistle. She instinctively looked to see that a little kid was running around her mother who was showing small yet cute dresses.

When she was watering the garden with her mom, dad was out for a shoot, she heard a long whistle. She placed the water can at the nearby table and ran to see that the post man was making the sound giving some letters of her single neighbours.

At night, she laid in her bed thinking of the last conversation.

Don't worry, I won't bother you anymore. I will not call you, or convince you, or whistle for attention. I will not follow you from now on.

She covered her head with the comforter but just then she heard a whistle that was the loudest from her balcony. She immediately threw the cover to the other side of the bed and ran towards it.

Just as she looked down, she saw that the watch guard was making the sound at some dogs who were running away. She tch-ed remembering the rest of the words.

Sighing, she turned around to go back but then did a complete circle seeing someone looking suspiciously yet smugly towards her.

Her grandmother.

"You've got it bad for some reason, Elina" Ichika was leaning on her cane grinning at her. Elina mocked her words under her breath and turned to go to her room. Just as she passed her grandmother, she humped in distaste and went ahead, listening to her grandma's mocking laugh.

"I thought if I turn my words back to her, she would feel really guilt and atleast talk to me about it, whether in my girl form or original"
"Mhm"
"Yea sure"

Izuku was leaning on the borderline of the house structure while Denki and Katsuki were playing carrom barely listening to his words, too immersed to win.

"But instead of that, she acted on impulse and totally cut off the connection"
"Now what will you do, huh?"
Katsuki asked aiming the white puck. Izuku stated,"But... My heart says that..."

Izuku aimed at the red puck and striking it to the goal said,"She will definitely-"
He moved his eyes to the entrance of his house seeing someone enter through the open gate,"-came....aaaAAAAHHHH!"
