Part 22

there was silence and I was utterly in shock.

honestly so was everyone else.

I didn't think people liked my dress that much. 

I felt immediately suspicious but I went up anyway to stand beside Lucas, looking out at the vast gym full of people staring at me silently.

"weirdo. weirdo. weirdo." Lucas started chanting beside me, this soon got taken up by betty and her group of girls which then made almost everyone in the gym aside from the teachers, benny and Lillian started doing it the noise so loud it felt like it was physically pushing me 

"weirdo! weirdo! weirdo! weirdo! weirdo! weirdo! weirdo!" 

I felt Lucas grab my arm but it wasn't to shove me, I noticed the moment he let go. He just moved me. 

"AhhhhhHH!" I screamed. I felt this wash of freezing cold, stickiness. I was frozen unable to respond in any way I glanced down seeing the dark red thick liquid all over me, on my dress, my hair, my skin, clearly a bucket of whatever this was had been dropped on me. that's why I was queen. that's why Lucas was king so he could move me to the right place so... betty did this. honestly, that didn't take much as the room was now in a shocked silence even the bastards who had yelled and mocked me were quiet thinking this was too far, betty and her heard the only ones still laughing.

and... anyone else in this situation would have snapped. would have broken down into tears. hid away forever and never spoke again. 

But. after everything betty had done to me. I wasn't going to give her this. and honestly... I like being a weirdo. 

I took my hand close to my face giving the liquid a sniff and it had a scent enough to kick an elephant, and given the consistency and stickiness I knew exactly what this was. I made eye contact with a giggling betty licking my arm and fingers clean like a hungry vampire and smirked "Ummm cherry." I smiled before breaking into laughter "dump the bright red Kool-Aid on the black dress, do you not understand colour you stupid bitch betty! all hail the weirdo vampire queen!" I giggled shoving Lucas off the stage and into Betty's arms 

"woooooo!" roared from the back of the gym, there Lillian, benny and a bunch of the other so-called weirdos of the school and basically took over everyone else cheering, I smirked offering my hand to benny he happily took it and came up onto the stage with me, 

"You are crazy" he laughed

"no. I'm a weirdo"

"and so am I" He smiled "Y/n. I love you"

"what?"

"I do. I really love you"

"ohh benny, I love you too" I wanted to cry but pulled him close giving him an intense kiss "come on. let's get out of here"
