Chapter 24

I never wanted to ruin Eloise's life. I just wanted to meet my little sister. I know about mom's disease. 

I know she has 2 side of her.

But I couldn't do anything about it. I want all of this to be over. I am Eloise's older brother Reid Rivera. I am suppose to protect her, protect my family since dad died but I couldn't do it. 

I am hurting my little sister because of my mother's evil twin.

I know your asking about why I wasn't in Eloise's life is because of mom. When she wanted to put Eloise in foster care I told her to put me instead. 

I was 9 back then.

 I was very wise at a young age. 

I knew everything. 

So I did what was best for my sister.

I took care of my sister since I was a little kid and now. And that will never change. But since then I was in a foster home and I got adopted . The family that adopted me wasn't bad they were really nice. It was the Silverrod family. 

They had 3 kids. 

They were older then me. 

There names were, Dela, Daniel, Christopher. They were like big brothers and sisters to me. 

Dela and Daniel were twins but they were still older then me. 

And Christopher is the oldest one out of all of us. 

But one night, mother kidnapped me last year. 

She told me about the plan with Eloise and I got mad. 

She forced me to do it. 

She said she was going to kill Eloise if I didn't agree. So I said yes and I am only doing this so I can save her and make her life better.

I've seen my name in the TV. My family is trying to find me but they can't. 

It'll put there life's at risk and someone I cared about is already at risk.

"HELP!" someone muffles under the mask.

"I said be quiet", I say to the girl. 

Me and mother had to kidnap everyone in the hospital. We couldn't afford anyone else knowing the plan. 

Amber is enough. 

We need everything open for her plan to work.

I was basically forced to kidnap them. There were a lot and some are in a hospital bed because they are attach to a wire. My mother said just kill them but I couldn't so I made a plan. They could die without the wire so I moved them with the bed so they are alive.  

"You pathetic people, no one can hear you so don't even bother screaming for help". Mother says with a smirk. "And if you keep yelling help I will kill you without hesitation", She says twirling the knife in her hand. 

"Mom, put the knife down they won't say anything". I tell her. 

"Don't tell me what to do boy", She says and I nod. I am taller then her. She is a little small but she is still evil. 

"Wait here I am going to check if there are more people in the area". "Something tells me more are hiding somewhere". She says and I nod. 

"I'll watch them while you leave", I say.

"Make sure no one leaves or I will make sure everyone in this room is dead". "Even you". She says pointing her knife at me. My hands start to shake but I put them in my pocket so she doesn't notice. 

"Yes I know mom just go and find whoever tried to escape or who is hiding". I say keeping my voice leveled.

She nods heading to the door. "A warning, don't try to escape or do anything stupid". She says leaving and everyone quickly nods. Someone tries to grab there phone but I take it. 

"Are you trying to kill everyone"! I yell at them and they shake there head. "You guys have to stop trying to do something foolish you are putting your life at risk for on reason"! I shout at them and they flinch.

"S-Sorry", a voice muffles. 

"It's alright just please don't do it again am trying to keep you guys safe". I say. The girl was very pretty. I bend down to her height since she's on the floor and put my hand on her cheek. 

"You'll be fine just please don't do anything like that", I softly said and she nods. 

"T-thank you", she says. 

"No problem", I whisper. 

I quickly stand up when I hear the door open. "I found these 2 idiots hiding under the table at the cafeteria". She said throwing them to the floor. She puts a towel in there mouth and cuffs in there arm. "This plan is working just fine", she says smirking. 

I nod. "Maybe we should kill some people for fun", Mom says pulling her knife out. 

"No, they didn't do anything". I say. 

She grabs the pretty girl in her hand. "yeah but killing is so much fun". She says putting the knife near her neck.

"No! Don't touch her she didn't do anything", I said. She lets her go and grabbing me by the neck pinning me against the wall put the knife on my neck. 

I grabbed her by the neck and switched our position. I grab my knife and put it against her neck.
"I can do it if I wanted to". I said with a smirk. 

"Fine I won't kill them or you just let go"! She says while rolls her eyes and lets go. 

"You guys should be lucky, I was gonna kill you all but plans change." She says looking at me while rubbing her throat.
