Chapter 23

I was alone with Chase. An awkward filling the air. "I'm sorry", I say to Chase. 

He looks up. "Why are you sorry?" He asks. 

"I sorta did fight her but it was hard". I was thinking about a way to fight her when she just entered my brain randomly." She knows my thoughts she says". I tried to fight but she just vanished". I tell him. 

"Vanished"? Chase says looking at me.

I nod, "when I tried to fight she just disappeared and appeared somewhere else". I say. 

"This is getting worse", Chase says. 

I nod, "I don't know what to do". I say running a hand through my locks. 

"None of us do, don't put all the blame on yourself." He says. 

"Yes the blame is on me". "You guys wouldn't be in this mess if it wasn't for me". I said. "I can never have a normal life for a second", I mumble.

"Did I ever tell you about my parents"? Chase asks. I shake my head. "My parents hated me", He said. "They always abused me, they tried so hard to get rid of me but I always came crawling back". 

"When they found out I had Trauma-x they lost control". They brought me to multiple hospitals and they told them not to let me escape." He explains

"Because they knew I was going to find a way back to them". 5 years ago, when I was 13 my parents died." They were in a car crash". But they killed themselves". They crashed into some random car". 

"They even gave me a note on how much they hate me". I always reread the note again and again and again". I knew I was a piece of shit".

"No one cared about me." Until I met Randy and Zahir. And until I met you". You showed me the impossible." I thought I would never fall in love". You showed me that people do care". And at some point I was suicidal." I wanted to kill myself. But I didn't". 

"Because you saved me". "When Reid took you away from me, I didn't know what to do". I couldn't lose you."

"You were the one keeping me alive". I was only living for you". I know I met you a week ago but you gave me a propose to live". And now I want to live forever". So I can be with you every second of the day". He says with a small smile. 

I look at him to see he has tears in his eyes. My eyes start to water.

"I am also living for you", I said. "I just wish this stupid disease was gone so that we can live normal lives."

"I had a messed up life", I said. 

"You didn't tell me your full life either", Chase says looking at me. 

"I-I got raped", I said. His eyes widen. 

"What do you mean?", How?" He asks. 

"When I was 8 years old, I got kidnapped". "It was my birthday as well". And some old creepy dude touched me and raped me everyday". "It took me a week to escape." When I finally did, I fainted".

"The doctors took me and when they found out I had Trauma-x they told me to stay in the hospital." I didn't try to escape because I was with Jaslyn and Jade and I was happy where I was. I was just glad I escaped from that place". 

"I met Jaslyn and Jade when I was 4". They don't have any disease's they are orphans". They escaped there orphanage just for me".

"We were sisters ever since". My mother told me today that she was going to adopt them and give me away to the orphan". She was going to do it in my birthday but couldn't because I got kidnapped."
