No, no, no, this can't be happening.
I really fucked up this time.
How did all of this happen.
I look at the floor to see pills. There red pills and there glowing. I quickly open the door running out the room.
I see Jade talking to Zahir and grab her arm. "Eloise what are you doing"? She asks me.
"Something happened with Chase". I mumble.
"Why are you mumbling"? Jade says a little panicked.
"The others can't find out about this". I say trying to stay calm.
"Why can't they"? Jade asks.
"Because there's something in that room that the others can't find." I say looking around to see if anyone's there.
"Chase overdosed with Angry". I whisper.
"The angry drug"? Jade asks. I nod.
"We need to help him if the others find out then they'll use if for the cure or they'll just panic". I explain.
She nods, "isn't it better if we use it for the cure"? Jade asks me. I shake my head.
"If Chase doesn't want the cure then neither do I. We are a team and he sacrificed so much for me and I should do the same for him. We will not make the cure". I say finally.
She gives me a soft smile. "Then we don't use it for the cure but we have to go save Chase come follow me". Jade says grabbing my arm and dragging me across the hall.
"Chase's room is the other way though"? I say.
"We are not going to Chase's room we have to stop the overdose by making a cure. If not when he wakes up he might be mad forever". Jade says and I nod.
We run to the lab and grab anything we see.
"Ok we might need to use the purple substance. It'll help overpower the Angry drug which would make him normal again". Jade explains grabbing the substance.
"What if it doesn't work"? I ask worried.
"It has too work but if it doesn't then there's nothing else we can do". Jade says to me.
"Ok let's go we have to hurry before he wakes up", Jade says grabbing me by the arm and dragging me out the room.
"Ok", I say taking a deep breath.
Chase is going to be ok.
I know it.
I feel it.
We walk down the hallway and entering Chase's room. We enter to see Chase wobbling to the door.
"Eloise I've missed you so much", Chase mumbles hugging me.
I raise my eyebrows confused.
"Isn't he suppose to be angry"? I ask Jade.
"His eye's are red but he's not mad". I say.
"Yeah but I'm guessing he's overpowering it". Jade says.
"Hey Chase can you drink this for me"? I ask him showing him the purple substance.
"Why"? He mumbles with a small pout.
"Just please drink it. For me". I mumble.
He nods grabbing the drink.
Drinking it all in 1 seconds.
His red eye's turning into his grey ones.
"What happened"? He asks us.
"You overdosed on the Angry drug", I say looking at the floor.
"Look Eloise I'm sorry I really didn't mean too it just got to me and I overdosed". He says running a hand through his hair.
I go up to him and hug him.
"I'm glad your ok", I say through tears. He slowly hugs me back.
"Why didn't you tell us you had the angry drug all this time"? Jade asks him.
"Because then you would make the cure". Chase mumbles.
"But don't you want the cure"? Jade asks.
"I already tried doing the cure! It didn't work"! Chase shouts. I step back a bit.
"How do you know it doesn't work". Jade asks.
"There's a machine that shows you if it works or not. Green is for it does work and Red is for it doesn't".
"And it gave me red. The cure doesn't work which is why I didn't want to wait. Chase mumbles. I should have told you guys I'm sorry I know I messed up". Chase tells me.
"Chase you didn't mess up and even if the cure did work I wasn't going to do it". I say.
"Why? Didn't you want to do it"? Chase asks me.
"Because I wasn't going to do something you didn't want to do". I explain.
"Uh guys". Jade says with wide eyes.
"What's wrong Jade"? I ask her.
"You guys just hugged and nothing happened". Jade explains.
I look at Chase.
She was right we hugged and we are just fine, we're still alive.
Chase goes up to me and holds my hand.
Intertwining them.
We wait a few seconds and nothing happens. We are still here and we're alive.
A huge smile goes on Chase's face.
He comes up to me and lifts me up spinning me around.
Chase, squeal.
Chase softly puts me down.
Tears form in my eyes.
I go to him wrapping my arms around his neck pulling him into a kiss.
He presses his lips against mine. I pull back slowly.
We did it. We're together. I can finally feel him. I can finally be happy.
