Chapter 29

I don't trust that girl. I don't trust any girl or any boy. Eloise seems to notice the frown on my face. 

"Chase what's wrong", She say's sitting on the floor across from me. 

"I don't trust that girl". I feel like somethings off", I say. 

"Why?" She seems fine to me". Eloise says. 

Eloise is too sweet. 

She thinks there's good in everyone. She does have a bad side but she barely uses it and I use my bad side all the time.

"I don't know I can't explain it I just don't trust her". "With everything that has been going on I feel like something is off". I say to her. 

"I know Chase, I understand that you feel a wrong vibe or you feel like somethings off". For your whole life everything bad has happened". And so is my life too". I understand you feel this way." But you can't just assume something that might not even be true". Eloise says with a small smile.

"I know Mi amore but it's hard". I don't get why I feel this way". I want to trust her and be her friend but I feel like something is wrong". I have this weird feeling in my gut". And I just want it to go away". I say looking into her big blown eyes. 

It looks like a pool of caramel. 

Something I don't want to stop swimming in.

"Look just give her a few". "You'll see she isn't everyone else". "She is kind, and she is my brothers girlfriend". And we are her first pair of friends". We have to help her fit in". She isn't evil or bad". Eloise says.

I nod, "Fine I will give her one shot". I say. 

Eloise gives me a silly grin. And jumps up and down. "Thank you Chase"! She says. "God I wish I can hug you but lord knows I can't", she says with a giggle. 

I shake my head with a smile. "No problem", I say. "But I have a question". I ask her and she nods. "Why do you have so much faith in her"? "Why do you trust her to much"? I ask with a raised eyebrow. 

"I don't know but I feel like I can trust her". She's new to all of this so we have to give her a chance". I know this is weird but I actually believe that she is nice and good". Eloise says. I nod, 

"With all that's going on I guess I can trust her a little". I say with a sigh.

"Hey um guys we have amazing news". Jade says with a smile. 

"What is it"? I ask. 

"We found something". Jade says. 

"What did you find"? Chase asks hopping off the desk he was sitting on. 

"Something that can help you both". She says. 

"W-What do you mean help us both"? I ask confused. 

"The cure, the cure for Trauma-x I think we can make it"! Jade says. Chase's eyes widen. "Come on I'll show you". She says. I walk towards her with Chase a few feet behind us. We walk down the hall to the room on the right. 

Room 78. 

When we walk in I notice this is the chemist lab. 

"What are we doing here"? I ask. 

"We can make the cure and cure you both". Zahir says with a grin. 

"You can actually cure us"?! I say. 

"Yes, well there's hoping". Jade says but I look at Chase and a smile spreads across our faces. 

"How did you even come up with this idea"? Chase asks shocked. 

"Well we were looking around to find a cure for your mother but they locked this up". Zahir says holding up a small glass bottle with purple liquid. 

"What is it"? I ask holding the purple liquid and observing it closely. 

"It's a part of the cure". Zahir says with a grin. 

"We just need another part and we can actually make it". Randy says. 

"But how do you know that's part of the cure"? Chase asks Zahir. 

"Well we saw a vault and we checked what was inside". "We found these and a few stacks of paper". It shows what they used so far to make this and what we need to finish it". Jade says grabbing the stack of paper and handing it to me. 

I take a look and my eyes widen. "There's pictures and everything". It shows what the purple substance is made of". I say softly. 

Jade nods. "It says that the purple substance is made out of something called char". Char is a blueish substance". It was a drug". It was to help those with your mothers disease". But people also use it as a drug". So we actually found one part for your mothers cure". Jade says. 

"If it's a drug then why should we use it"? I ask confused. 

"It isn't a dangerous drug, it can't kill you and with the other substances we have to mix with this it can overtake the drug affect". Jade tells me. 

I nod, "what other substances would we need to make the cure"? I ask confused. 

"We need 2 more substance". It is a red substance". It is called Enemy". "People called it that because of it's side affects". It turns you angry". It is also a drug". And another one is white". Its called CM". It stands for calming method". It calms a human down when they are stress". Jade explains. 

"How do you know that I won't turn angry or something"? Chase asks confused looking at the papers Zahir handed to him. 

"Because the CM is a strong drug that can calm you down". So it would over power the drug Enemy". How long would we be calm for"? I ask. For like 30 minutes or maybe an hour". The good thing is that it wears off". Zahir adds. 

"How are we suppose to make these substances"? I ask them. 

"We have some of the things in the lab but some of it is like in a grocery store". But for the Enemy you have to go to an actual lab". They only have it in labs because of how dangerous that drug is. But we can get the CM drug easily". It's the Enemy drug that is harder to find. Jade explains.

"But what about mom"? I ask. 

"She can wait for a while but this is the first time that anyone has ever made this cure". We can cure everyone with Trauma-X". We can finally cure you guys". Zahir says. 

I nod with a huge smile. "Thank you guys". I say hugging Jade and Jaslyn and Zahir and Randy. 

And Chase just smiles. He doesn't like giving affection. 

"Hey do you know where Annabelle's is at"? I ask. 

"She is already trying to find the ingredients for the CM drug". Jade says with a smile. 

"We might have this cure in 3 days". Or even 2". Zahir says with a grin. "Since Jade knows a lot about science we can get this cure faster". Zahir says. 

"Lets hope this cure actually works", I whisper. Jade holds my hand. 

"Hey it will, don't think like that". Think positive".Jade says and I nod and with that I take a deep breath.
