Leo's pov:

It was completely pointless. This stupid contract, but with one glance at Chase's pleading eyes, I decided against complaining.

I wondered if the girl knew who Chase was. If she could remember him. I wondered when he'd tell her, or if he ever would. I wondered how her annoying little face would change as she found his identity, would she laugh, cry, and smile? or would she become angry, cold and distant? I sighed. This wasn't something I should be worrying about, it was a problem between Chase and her, not me.

I had bigger things to worry about. Such as my positively insane siblings. last time I had invited them at The House Of Cards, 2 people were killed, BY MISTAKE. They could not be trusted together.

I rubbed my eyes and placed my headphones back over my ears, and the gentle melody soothed me, as I tried to piece my thoughts together.

The Hyacinths were moving in, they either want us dead, or take over, and as Chase had worked out, they were after Cardan. I have never understood how Chases brain works, but i trust him, so if he says they are after Cardan, he must be right.  We needed the help of the Rousseau's, we needed more information, and no matter how much I hated the whole mafia, I couldn't ignore if they had valuable information.

I was worried for Cardan, I know he may be more then capable for looking after himself, I mean he was running a whole section by himself, that, was functioning extremely well, in fact it seemed to flourish under his touch. However at the end of the day he was still a child, only 16 and he had tendencies to act rather childish, and without someone who can keep an eye on him, well...I mean he could easily run into the road and get runover, not to mention the amount of times hes gotten lost.

Cardan, my youngest step brother, while being funny and loveable, only did things that he found fun. The only reason he took over The Hearts, was because he was exceptionally skilled in weapons. Anything. Guns, snipers, Carabines, no matter how different the guns were from each other, he could pick it up and use it as if it were so simple. The only reason I allowed Cardan to become the head of Hearts, was primarily due to his Ace. Keiji Kiyoshi. The most level headed person I knew.

The twins. Older then me by 6 months, My older half siblings, Paris and Venus. Lets just say they definitely had a screw loose somewhere in their heads. They kill people with smiles on their faces, and then have the nerve to pretend like nothing happened. While Paris is more calm and collected, he certainly isn't better then Venus, he is extremely possessive. If something was his and anyone dared to touch it they would die.

Venus...she's...something. Her mood can change so fast, to the point where I'm certain she Bi-Polar. One minute she can be laughing then in the span of 5 seconds she will start beating the shit out of someone.

Mirae my sweet loving older sister, had the biggest god complex known to man. An extreme narcissist. But still ever since she got married, shes toned down a bit I guess, as she says, and keeps on reminding me, love works in mysterious ways. I always roll my eyes at this. She is not better then the twins however, shes worse. Even still.

Last time Paris literally annihilated someone for looking at his wife. Cardan and Venus decided to have a fight, Cardan with his guns and Venus with her fists.

They destroyed the bottom half of the house in the process of said fight, and some one was killed, because of this fight Chase and I had to relocate to our temporary base, hence us coming back now. Mirae spent half of the meeting admiring herself in the mirror, to then shout and fire our temporary chef for not making the food to her standards.

I covered my face at the memories of that fateful day. Never again.

I was being poked again. I continued ignoring it. I was still getting poked. I still ignored it. He poked me again. Oh for fucks sake-

I slid my headphones off, and opened my eyes and a cheery face greeted me. Chase. I repressed the urge to punch him.

"What."

"What do you mean what?" he asked

"I mean what the fuck do you want."

he rolled his eyes "We're here lee."

I didn't even bother trying to correct him and  smacked the back of his head.

"W-what was that for?!" he sniffed

I glared at him and for the first time I noticed that the plane had come to a stop and the small door was open, revealing a clear blue sky. I looked around me and noticed that the girl was nowhere to be seen.

"lets go then." he said dragging me by my arm. I reluctantly obliged and stumbled as I stood up, stretching my legs out

The Los Angels, The City of Angels. The humid air hit me and I grimaced in disgusted. Oh how I hated this place.

Chase led me to the car of which Aria - the girl - had already situated herself in, I made my way to the passenger seat, and Chase made his to the drivers seat. This, I would come to regret.

Chase's driving skills were atrocious. He kept stopping and starting, and breaking everywhere.

"Swap with me."

"WHAT!! noooo, I just haven't driven in a while. I'll be ok in a bit" He protested.

"Chase. While I'm asking nicely, swap with me. Right about fucking now."

"Leo, chilll its gonna be o- HOLY FREAKING GUACAMOLI, DID YOU JUST SEE THAT LEO???"

Chase had just violently swerved away from an incoming car, and apart from his shocked expression he seemed dead smug about it. If I spent another minuet in the car with Chase as the driver I knew i was going to die.

"You gotta admit, that was hella cool though." A voice at the back of the car spoke out.

The girl. I'd forgotten she was here.

"EXACTLY! Thank you Aria." he smugly replied.

"Chase. I swear down if you don't stop this fucking car and let me drive ill break your legs so that you can never drive again." I was trying so hard not to smack him again.

"Oh my godddd, leo trust me, just trus- BLOODY HELL." he screamed

He nearly ran someone over. clean.

"Pffft-" The girl was laughing to herself now.

"CHASE STOP THE FUCKING CAR RIGHT NOW." I finally had enough.

Chase said nothing but pulled the car over to the side of the road. and slowly got out of the car, with a stupid sorrowful look on his face. I swapped seats with him, and sighed.

"Kill-joy" The girl muttered under her breath.

"Well I'm sorry I value my life unlike you." I returned through my gritted teeth.

She scoffed. "Oh my, I apologise you majesty, I seem to have stepped on your nerves." I watched her looking at me in the rear-view mirror, she batted her eyes, feigning and apology.

It took us 50 minuets of silence to finally reach to our destination.
