Leo's Pov:

A feeling inside of me burned.

Burned deep down inside and the only feeling that I could call it was fury.

But it was a different kind of fury. A very different kind of fury. This one didn't make me want to break things or destroy them. This one wanted to save a person. This one wanted to make me make sure that someone wasn't hurt.

I didn't know what this feeling was called, but I knew it wasn't anger.

What if she had gotten hurt? What if she had done something so stupid that she had harmed herself.

I flung the door of my study open and immediately smoke entered my lungs.

The feeling clawed at me. Where the hell was she?

I blindly ran in the smoke hands out in front of me my breathing quickening by the second. I needed to find her. I had to find her.

The feeling was burning a hole inside my chest. I couldn't distinguish if that was the smokes doing or the feelings. A bit of both. I concluded.

Then suddenly my hand touched an arm.

relief washed through me and even in the midst of the smoke, hazing my vision, I knew it was her, I don't know how I knew. I just did.

I pulled her into my chest. And the feeling fell away, just like that.

I wrapped my arms around her before I could even think about it.

I needed her.

I needed her scent. I needed her sassy green eyes. I needed her beautiful, beautiful smile, but most of all I needed her.

She relaxed in my arms as her breathing stabilized, I rested my head on her hair, holding her tighter in my arms.

I felt peaceful.

Like I'd never felt before. I needed her.

Damn this feeling in my chest. What the hell was wrong with me.

She was breathing really hard into my chest and slowly crumpled a little, I held her tighter so she wouldn't fall, and we stayed like that, me inhale the intoxicating scent of smoke and her.

I don't know how long passed, I didn't care.

At this point I didn't know who was holding who up, my knees get a bit shaky when she wrapped her arms around me, and instead of her breathing fast my heart was racing. Beating faster and faster, but it was weird. I had never felt so calm before.

"Well. I really was not expecting to see that. Goodness me how very disgusting." A voice spoke out from in front of me.

I snapped my eyes open to see the smoke had cleared a lot. The large doors of the mansion were side open and 2 people stood in the middle of them. Aria It seemed came back to the present and broke out of my arms.
