Leo's Pov:
Chase's voice was a blessing. Ok perhaps his annoying voice wasn't a blessing but it was better then the sugary one that belonged to the woman standing Infront me.
"Hey Leo, so I had a call saying that you needed me or- Oh shit." He had walked into the room looking down at his top, brushing something of off it. When he finished he'd looked up. Explaining his shocked expression.
Angel scoffed at him.
"Leo. Darling I asked you a question?" She'd decided to ignore his presence and turned to me.
"Angel. Just go." I gritted out.
"I have no idea why your being so rude, I mean I know you like to play hard to get dearie but honestly Its a little much." So she also had decided she would also ignore me it seemed.
"Ms. Pierrta," Chase interrupted "I was wondering if you had made an appointment with Leo or not?"
She scoffed again and turned to look at him. "I don't need an appointment to meet Leo. Now I would appreciate if you could like leave?"
"Ms. Pierrta, no matter who you are, you are not his direct family or his GIRLFRIEND or even his friend, and so i'm afraid that to meet Leo an appointment is required." Chase was smiling at her brightly.
I seriously didn't understand how he could find this whole thing amusing.
She looked at him smugly and crossed her arms. "You really think that you can just throw me out of here? Well go on then. Do it. Then lets see if you will ever get to do business with Pierrta Jewellery."
Chase tried to disguise a laugh, but he didnt do a very good attempt at it.
"Ms Pierrta I believe that your forgetting just who we are and where you are right now? I mean it will not do us any harm if we stop doing business with Pierrta Jewellery. In fact the impact would only backfire."
She narrowed her eyes at Chase and then stomped her foot to the ground. She then spun around to me and grabbed my arm.
I couldn't hit her. I couldn't do anything. I had to stay still, but the ever growing anger was beyond able to be kept in.
"Darling, Look at how rude your assistant is being to me!" She pouted.
"Angel. Get your hand of me." I managed to say the words as calmly as I could.
"Leo!" She whined.
"Uhm, Ms. Pierrta i'm just warning you right now, you might want to move away from Leo. Uhm. Right now. Ms. Pierrta. Please." Chase was urgent in warning her that I was about to absolutely loose it.
"Oh leave-" She started.
"Chase?" A new voice spoke out from beside the door.
The girl. Aria. Surprise jolted through me, suffocating my anger into it finally dissolving. She was the last person i'd expected to see.
Chase was the one to turn around now "Oh hey, something up?"
She held up a bag with the Dior logo on "You left this in the car, where do you want it?"
"Oh uhm-"
"Who is SHE?" Angel had loosened her grip on my arm at this point but when she saw Aria her grip tightened again
Aria raised her eyebrow at Angel. She didn't look too impressed at the shrieking woman beside me. Not that I cared. Obviously.
"Right. Looks like this isn't the right time to be here." Aria turned to leave just as Angel stopped her.
"You- Girl. Stop. Right there. Stop."
"What." Aria flatly asked.
"Who are you?" Angels hand on my arm was only growing tighter, but it wasn't right to push her off. I couldn't do that.
"Aria." She was still turned around with her hand on the doorframe, looking impatient.
"How are you even allowed in the building? Like iv'e never seen you around. Are you a bodyguard or something? Anyway it doesn't matter. We could do with some tea, or snacks?" Angle looked at me asking for my opinion on whether we should have tea or snacks.
Aria slowly turned around and had a vile smile on her face.
"Of course. What would you like?" She asked her with a flowery smile. That was enough to know that something really really bad was about to happen.
Out of the corner of my eye I could see Chase trying hard to get my attention. Moving my head in his direction he mouthed the word 'Girlfriend' and pointed to Aria.
Oh hell no. Fuck him. No way.
Suddenly Angels grip faltered. Now was my chance. I jerked my arm back so that she couldn't hold it any longer.
Angel looked at me with wide eyes. "Oh, Leo, darling you don't have to be so shy around others. I'm sure that they dont mind me holding your arm." She giggled at the end and playfully poked me.
I had to remind myself that violence isn't allowed. I couldn't hit her. She was a woman at the end of the day and while I tried to be as respectful as much as I could, she was testing my patience.
"Ms, Pierrta, what Leo has been trying to tell you is about this lady right here." Chase stepped in, he pointed at Aria and carried on. "You see in those 6 months he was away Leo found himself the love of his life. Aria."
"Ok? So? I don't get it." Was all she said.
Chase sighed. "Leo has a girlfriend."
"Aww, im not his girlfriend yet, but hopefully soon." she looked up at me and giggled.
"No I didn't- Leo is dating this girl right here." He pointed to Aria who gave her a wave.
"What? I'm sorry but I think I just heard that something else." She looked a little shocked right now. This was good.
"Leo. Is. Dating. Aria." Chase had to spell it out for her.
Angel looked at me with a question in her eyes. "You cant be serious. I mean she looks so trashy. Like come on!"
I stood up and moved over to where aria was standing. "No, Shes my girlfriend."
Angel looked at me like she was going to cry and then suddenly she ran out the room.
Well at least she was gone.
