Forgetting
Jayna
I look around an extravagant ballroom. It looks like something out of a tv show. Looking down I'm wearing a regal dress. It clings to my figure, accenting parts of my body I don't usually show off. There are two high slits on either side of the dress showing off long and deeply tanned legs. They come up all the way to the top of my hip bones. Eyes lock onto me, staring at me in my scandalous dress. My attention stays focussed on a head of beautiful red hair. I recognize it from my previous dream. It belongs to that man.
His gaze turns to where I entered the room and locks on me. Those golden eyes holding me in place. I walk towards him seductively, my hips swaying an extra amount to keep his gaze.
Another man draws his attention back to their previous conversation. I feel cool fingers grip my arm as I'm jerked off to the side of the room.
"Excuse me." I gasp out as I turn to face a beautiful woman. She has long white hair that reaches the base of her spine. She is dressed elegantly in a modest dress that hugs her figure without showing too much skin. Her eyes are what lock me in place. She has these soft features that look motherly with such harsh eyes.
"You have no modesty walking in here dressed like that." She tells me sternly. I feel like I'm being scolded by my mother.
"Oh please, I can dress how I please." I spit back, venom lacing my tone.
"You're lucky I got to you before Mystique. You know what she did to the last woman who attempted to seduce Fafnir as well as I." That sends a chill down my spine.
"Well doesn't look like the winged bitch is here." I rip my arm from the woman's grasp and walk back to the groups of people. She lets me go; another woman walking over. I catch the man's attention again, moving my body seductively as I walk over to a secluded balcony. I lean forward as the cool wind swirls around me, arching my back.
Not too long after I walk out into the balcony, warm hands grip hold of my hips as the person presses their torso into my back. I feel warm lips kiss along my exposed shoulder and neck.
"You know you're not supposed to be here." Fafnir speaks softly as he nibbles on my ear. I bite my lip to supress a moan as my thighs press together. He spins me around roughly so I'm facing him. I wrap my arms lazily around his neck.
"I guess I justcouldn't stay away from you." I tell him as I spin us around, so he is pressedagainst the banister. I place my lips on his. Our kiss is heated as he takescomplete control of my mouth, ravishing me. He kisses his way down my neck, hands gripping my waist tightly. I tilt my head back, allowing him more accessto my neck.
My body aches as I open my eyes. My head is pounding as I look around. I'm laid in the backseat of the car wrapped up in my sleeping back with a pillow under my head. The heat in the car is on full blast. I see Gabie in the front seat sleeping in a similar position. I look around not seeing Lest in the car. When I look outside the car, he is leaning against the driver door, his figure blurred by the mist that's formed on the inside of the car. I slowly slide out of the car after grabbing a sweater and pulling it on.
"Hey." I say to get his attention. He isn't looking at me. He has a cigarette in his mouth, right hand running along the centre of his left hands palm. He stares at it with furrowed brows, thinking. "Lest?" I ask as I place my hand on his shoulder. He turns to me quickly with startled, fearful eyes. "You okay?" I ask him. He pulls the cancer stick from his lips, blowing out a stream of smoke.
"Sorry." He says softly, eyes falling back to his hand. "What do you remember from last night." He avoids my question.
"We stopped for supper; the waiter was kinda cute. We ordered and everything gets blurry after that." I tell him as I lean against the car beside him. He takes another drag of the cigarette and blows out the smoke. "You know that Gabie is going to castrate you when she notices you're smoking again." He lets out a light chuckle, looking down and shaking his head with his adorable boyish smile.
